Hello. We rested in Egypt for the first time, the hotel was chosen for a long time. Rehana was the most frequent hotel offered by tour operators (we visited more than one company). In the end, we settled on it, because by the date of the purchase of the tour, the dollar had fallen and the price suited us perfectly.
We flew out at 4 in the morning (we thought it was great, because we expected that we would stay there longer), but in the end we arrived at about 8 in the morning Egyptian time (there are -2 from ours). Our hotel turned out to be very close, about 20 minutes drive from the airport, and until 12 o'clock we were in limbo, i. e. we could move around the hotel freely (by the way, you can change clothes in the storage room, the suitcases are stored there until check-in, but you can’t eat or drink. At 12 we were put on bracelets, but since the hotel was full (October - season) we were only settled at about 13 h (by that time we had already had time to eat. ) The rooms (standard) are all the same, decent (if you do not pay attention to all sorts of little things, for example, an unpainted baseboard).
The territory is huge - 17 pools, there is enough space for everyone. The territory is constantly maintained in excellent condition. Pools are cleaned, leaves are collected, palm trees are pruned. Cleaned around the clock!

The beach is really not very big, but you can always find a free sunbed.
Kitchen. I can say one thing about the kitchen - pretty monotonous. But you won't leave hungry. Separate respect to the chefs for donuts with honey, it's super!!!
Sea. One word - beauty! Lots of fish, great reef. True, the sea is often not calm and the current is strong. But we had enough time to swim.
Mostly people hang out at the main pool (there is a bar) and on the beach. I can’t tell much about the animation: the children were entertained (competitions, dances, faces were painted), I saw aerobics a couple of times by the main pool - I was not impressed. There was a foam party, karaoke.
Separately about excursions. Super motorcycle safari - it's cool! First, ride a quad bike through the canyon (not very fast), then ride a camel, then dinner in a Bedduin village (the same buffet, food like in a hotel), watch the show and back on quad bikes, but already in the dark. If you are traveling together, then take one ATV for two (one steers there, the other back), you still won’t be able to ride the races, because. everyone rides in one column (overtaking is prohibited, max speed is 30 km).

Israel. Of course, visiting Israel, swimming in the Dead Sea, seeing Jerusalem, walking around the holy places is great. However, there is one big BUT: the border! We stood for 4 hours at the border, and stood in the literal sense. We were dropped off the bus and we went through security for 4 hours (several long lines). At the Israeli border, during passport control, they may also not let you in if the military girls don’t like you for some reason. On the Dead Sea, parking is very short. In the store you will be offered to buy Dead Sea cosmetics (do not rush to the store headlong, in the duty free of Israel there is the same thing much cheaper). Israel is solid mountains, it looks like a patchwork quilt: on one patch there is a store and a seemingly normal life. on the other - rockets, barbed wire and the military. Jerusalem is traffic jams, they ran from the bus and into the bus on the go, because. there is nowhere for the bus to park. A very interesting excursion, but also very tiring (the whole day, and most of the time is the bus and the border). It's up to you, but if I knew how it would all be, I would refuse.
Cairo. A very dirty city. In Cairo, we visited the National Museum (photographing is unfortunately prohibited there), went to a perfume factory (they sell the same thing three times cheaper in the hotel), went to the pyramids, to the Sphinx and drove along the Nile. Also quite a tiring trip, and even unlike Israel, it was hotter in Cairo.
You can also take a free ride to the fur leather factory. Turkish leather, the range is large, but there are few worthwhile things. Prices are the same as in our boutiques, but you can bargain for 300 dollars off (if from jackets, sheepskin coats), less from bags.
The return flight was changed for us (instead of 18.15 we flew at 21.45). Check-out from the room takes place at 12 o'clock. If you want to extend the room, then the cost until 16 o'clock - 20$/h, until 20 o'clock - 40$/h. Tip: negotiate with your neighbors or with whom you met (if they do not fly away on the same day) to leave things with them and change clothes before the road. They can also take you a drink at the bar. it will not be available for you after 12:00 (the bracelets will be cut off), you can eat in the dining room. By the way, only our bracelets were cut off, people from other hotels flew out with bracelets.
If you go for 8 days, then three excursions is a bit much. My advice is pick one.
And yes, I really enjoyed my vacation. But next time I'll lie on the beach, I've had enough excursions.
Have a good rest!
