I want to start my review with the fact that I was vacationing in Egypt for the first time. We usually spend our holidays in Turkey. Egypt has never been attractive and reviews of hotels are usually not happy. But still I really wanted to see coral reefs. So we decided to visit Egypt. Due to the coronavirus and quarantine, the choice of hotels was not large, as most have not yet opened. Tour operator advising this hotel. Immediately paid without reading the reviews. Departure was in 1 day. When I read the reviews at home and saw the rating of 6 stars, I was a little upset. But it turned out not so bad)
We arrived at the hotel at 16:00, we were immediately accommodated in the room. I don't know if it's related to quarantine and the virus, but no one wore bracelets at the hotel. An employee of the hotel approached the man at the reception and offered a beautiful room with sea and pool views. We agreed.
We were accommodated in the 3rd building, Superior room (if I'm not mistaken), the view from the balcony was really gorgeous! We wanted $ 20 for the room, we paid $ 15 extra. and 2 chocolates roshen) It was possible and less, but we decided not to bargain anymore) The sea, swimming pools and restaurants were close. People who lived in the buildings closer to the reception are not jealous, it was really far to go to the sea, constantly had to go down and up the stairs.
As for the room, the room is large, relatively clean, the furniture is not new, it has big scratches and everything was fine. Bed linen and towels are clean. Towels were changed daily, we left $ 1. Put two bottles of water daily. They also cleaned every day, but they have the biggest problems with that, they don't know how to clean ...refrigerator, kettle, sugar, tea and coffee. I rate the hotel room at 8 out of 10.
As for the territory, it is really big and very beautiful! Especially at night, when lighting, fountains and mini-waterfalls are turned on.
Indeed, the infrastructure and territory were very pleasing! ! ! ! ! ! ! A large number of pools and 70 cm and 160 cm, there are slides for children and adults. I can't say anything about them, we didn't visit them. I rate the territory in 10 out of 10 points.
Animation. When there were few people in the hotel, and this is the first two days since our arrival, there was almost nothing interesting. But as soon as the hotel became 80% full, the animators really did their job professionally! Very active, fun! I liked stretching, which was every day, aqua aerobics, evening shows, karaoke. People who had a rest with children praised the children's disco and show programs. I rate animation at 9 out of 10 points.
Restaurant: the restaurant is very clean, not as in the hotel, where the cleanliness is very pleased. The choice of food is great, not everything is delicious but there is something to eat. Of the fruits were: melon, watermelon, banana, dates, figs, grapes, orange, pear, apple.
Of course not at the same time, each reception was different fruit, on a regular basis there was only melon. There have always been chicken, fish, vegetables, various side dishes, cheeses, pastries, soups (in the range for every taste). The seafood soups were very tasty. There were also lula kebabs, crabs, grilled tuna, mackerel, liver, pizza, pancakes and more. That is, you will not be hungry. And their baking is something probable! ! ! ! ! I really haven't eaten any tastier pastries. Very tasty souffle and their cakes (not all, of course). I do not recommend eating in the food court, only french fries. Their burgers and hot dogs, in my opinion, do not inspire confidence. We also did not drink their local alcohol, only beer. Acquaintances who drank this alcohol were constantly poisoned ...In the restaurant all the staff in masks and gloves. Food is served by staff, food is behind glass. At the entrance to the restaurant measure the temperature and write down the room number. I rate the restaurant and food at 8.5 points out of 10.
Sea: I will not write for a long time.
The reef near the pier is good, there is something to see. But the sea near the shore where the knees of the water and the dead reef did not please. Maybe this is the case in Egypt, it's hard for me to assess. But I can't say that I will return to Egypt by sea. When the strong wind and big waves were constantly reflected, I will not evaluate the sea.
