I never loved this country, but my parents gave me and my husband a ticket for our anniversary to Sharm in the summer of 2010. As they say, you don't look a gift horse in the mouth.
We settled in the Savoy Hotel (we will never forget). Dirty linens, bathrobes, used washed but still dirty slippers, uncleaned toilet with "traces" of the previous user, spoiled food in the restaurant (husband had a serious poisoning), dirty cutlery, ashes in a glass, incomprehensible "inside hotel rules" and threats from the hotel staff - that's all our "vacation" consisted of. And I'm talking about the 5* Savoy Hotel. In Russia, the travel agency "TEZ TOUR" refused our complaint, citing the non-confirmation of this information by the hotel. It turns out that 150 photographs with evidence and letters from hotel administrators with attempts to resolve these inconveniences were not enough for TEZ TOUR, but taking the word of the hotel management is easy. Although what I'm talking about, tourists are dying there, and even after that they can't achieve anything. In Russia, we are absolutely unprotected, continuous corruption is everywhere!
And I come to the conclusion: is this "wonderful" country - Egypt worth the money of Russian tourists spending them there on vacation?
