Good day to all.
I would like to tell you about my next stay in this wonderful hotel. To begin with, a little background (I found out about this myself recently at the hotel) - Hotel Savoy is not included, like most hotels, in the general network. Almost all work on the Franchise system. The hotel (Egyptian Savoy) will soon have a new hotel "Soho bitik or Soho hotel" hotel boxes are standing and according to plans for 2014, in theory, they should open. It is located on the second line, behind the shops, if you turn your back on the Savoy and look at the shops.
This time I did not receive a visa, but received a Sinai stamp (this time we were not going to go on excursions). Received the Sinai stamp with no problems.

Well, specifically about the rest. Traveled with my wife and 7 month old son. Last time we were on the S class system. This time we went on the FB system (full board) for 11 days. I can say with confidence that if you do not drink a lot of alcohol, do not overeat on the beach in bars, THEN you can safely take a non-S class. We got a voucher with our expenses for 500 USD. cheaper. Well, that's besides the discount the agency gave us. I think you will always find 500 on what to spend. At the same time, we did nothing for ourselves. As before, if they wanted, they drank juices and water as much as they wanted. With the FB system (full board) for breakfast, all drinks are free for lunch and dinner and on the beach all drinks are 25% discounted (I won’t say we don’t drink alcohol). There is a drawback, but it is not great, for dinner at the Steak House restaurant you will have to pay 50% of the cost of dinner. We dined at this restaurant 3 times. We once for dinner we went to a common restaurant, and the rest of the 9 days we dined at a la carte restaurants. The fundamental difference between FB and S class, in my opinion, is free water, alcohol, and a book with bonuses, such as one time, massage, culture, test dive, ice rink, and some other nonsense. And there are also discounts in the menu for S class for individual dishes. At the same time, let me remind you, we did not deny ourselves anything in food.
I strongly advise you to go to the Egyptian restaurant, well, of course, the Steak House, Sea food restaurant where we dined every day, Well, a good Italian restaurant. Dined there 4 times.
The Egyptians are very fond of children, they are especially good with small children. In each restaurant, our baby was given some kind of toy. And everyone tried to play with him to pay attention to him.
We were in a Japanese restaurant. I am not a very big eater of this food, my wife loves it, but I also found something to eat there. I liked it very much, it was raw, sea bass (sort of like that). But there is not enough variety for me and we were once. I don't think I will go next time. Compared to the assortment in Ukrainian chains of Japanese restaurants, the choice of cuisine in a restaurant in Soho is small. Well, this is a fact and real Japanese restaurants are like that. In Soho, all drinks are 25% off.
I really enjoyed my vacation, just like last year. Then the wife was pregnant. The most interesting thing is that we met 3 couples of Swedes, Englishmen with a child, and a few more couples of foreigners who were there last year.
Pleasant from the hotel. Upon arrival, you will be asked to fill out documents and join the Savoy club. Be sure to do it. There are privileges true for the next trip to this hotel which must be within a year. You get points for your stay, and you can spend them the next time you want, there is a table that you can see. Well, at first they will give you a simple card, then gold and then you can reach platinum. Pleasant staff at check-in, cold hibiscus. And many other things that speaks of the friendliness of the staff. It is important, I think, to be very friendly and not a snob, and then everything will definitely be fine.

I can’t say anything about baby food at the hotel, our baby was at that moment on mixtures and on cereals that we took with us. You can not take diapers, they can be bought there, in a store or in a pharmacy. A meager choice of food for the little ones, but this is an individual thing and I still advise you to take it with you.
Metro Shop - Don't confuse it with the Metro you are used to or know about. Egyptian metro and metro from Ukraine and Russia, etc. it's like they say in Odessa "two big differences. " So yes, you can not compare, not by any criteria.
As for the Savoy hotel, it's hard for me to say, everything suits me there. The rooms in the regular Savoy are of course worse than in the Royal Savoy. But they are in good condition. I advise everyone not to hold down 200 bucks and take a room overlooking the pool (although you will then compete with me -)))). If you have a small child, then I advise numbers from 4001 to I don’t remember which one (exactly up to 4020). Everyone with small children is given the first floor. Definitely better than the second floor.
What is good for those who have small children - the pool is the largest, the entrance to it in centimeters is from 0 to 1.40 cm, and the child can sit quietly by the shore and nothing will happen to him. My baby sat in the water and played with toys there. Do not be afraid if your baby takes a sip, water from the pool (ours did this and others also had children), we had no problems with the chair and tummy. The beach has a children's pool, there is salt water. There is an entrance to the sea with small children, but since your baby is not big, you don’t need to go deep. Look after the kids, if they drink from sea water, probably something will not be good. Ours tried to lick a little, but we controlled it and everything was in order. I think you do not need to take with you all the inflatable gadgets for the baby. Get out of the hotel, go to the right 400 meters there is a shop, everything is there and cheaper than in the store, which is nearby, while what we bought cheaper than in our country is almost in half. There is a children's club, there are always a lot of children and with them one or two teachers. We brought our baby with him there, too, were engaged. But to be honest, at this age it is still too early for him to go there.

Anyone who wants to get an answer about a vacation with or without a child, write, if I can definitely help with advice.
