Again there are problems with water even in the room in the first building.

VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Towards the end of my vacation, I turned over and looked at the bottom of the plastic dishes in the restaurant. My suspicions were confirmed: it's MELAMINE : ( So we poisoned ourselves by pouring hot soup and main courses into it : ( Although there's information online that high-quality restaurant melamine can withstand hot food at 100 degrees, as long as you don't microwave it. These experiments scare me, and if I'd known the dishes were made of melamine, I would have brought a ceramic plate with me. If only I didn't have to lug it back and forth from my room to the restaurant, then back. And if only I didn't have to save weight on the plane when I have to bring back mangoes and fresh juices!

The reef is great! You can enter the water from the shore via loose stone steps. This access is closer to the "Reef Oasis. " And there's also a short pontoon closer to the "Continental. " The "Reef Oasis" reef is poorer and there are fewer fish. We saw moray eels, baleen puffers, There are a lot of zebra lionfish and surgeonfish in the shallows where people go into the water: ( And, of course, a lot of beautiful different fish, as if created

the sophisticated imagination of a crazy designer: ) Motorboats still bring divers from all over Sharm to our reef...It's flattering: how good our reef is! But these visits stain the water with drops of oil from the boat engines. : ( We didn't see any oil, but it's inevitable if the boats are arriving.

Just like last time, there were problems with hot water. : ( Moreover, this time we were put directly in the Sharm Plaza, although we booked the Sharm Resort because it was slightly cheaper. Apparently due to the low tourist influx on our dates, we were immediately put in wonderful room 2145 in the second building with a view of the park and the sea. We were very happy and even took a shower, but after a day or two, the hot water disappeared. On this vacation, the reception staff was helpful; the guy spoke good Russian and offered us room 1110! It's right above the pool by the sea. But he immediately warned us to check for hot water there too. Alas, there wasn't any there either. : ( The next day, we were also offered the second building, but the left wing – 2110. This room had hot water, and we moved. The guys at the reception were friendly. Thank them very much!
As the reviews say, the magnetic room key card sometimes malfunctions. We changed it once. It's inconvenient, of course.

The shared air conditioner is loud, just like last time. We didn't use it.

There are a lot of mosquitoes in the evening.

The internet is weak at reception. We bought their SIM card for two at the airport – it doesn't include data for messaging apps. Photos and videos in messaging apps also don't include data. We still have a lot of gigabytes left, even though we used Google Maps and looked at a lot of Russian Pharmacy satellites.

Like last time, the beef looks delicious, but it's impossible to chew! It's like shoe sole. Yes, grilled chicken and fish can get burnt when the cooks don't keep an eye on the fire. You can ask for a less burnt piece.

The food is varied. We weren't hungry either last time or this time: grilled vegetables (fatty, eggplant in oil - delicious), fresh vegetables, olives, olive oil, fish, meat (you don't have to take grilled - you can get stewed from the trays on the tables), they gave crabs - for those who like to pick at them : ) There are always two types of soups for lunch and dinner, different ones. Delicious - we like soups. The sweets are good, but nothing wow. Yes, instant coffee. If you are coffee lovers, bring your own : ) And an electric geyser coffee maker in your room. Yes, there are not enough tea cups and glasses at the bar. The water for tea from the machine in the restaurant does not flow hot, but lukewarm. But their tea is strong and still brews. But whether your natural coffee would brew - I don't know : ) We ordered white wine from the bar. It's poured from huge foil bags. Like all wines in all halals in all countries, it doesn't get you drunk. : ) But it's a pleasant drink to wash down with food. Once during our entire vacation, it tasted watered down. : ( Even though it was poured from a large foil bag with a tap. Did they really pour water through that tap? By the end of dinner, there wasn't always enough wine to fill even our two glasses (not the many, as drunk people usually do). The bartender was unfriendly the entire vacation.
For some reason, wine is paid for on the beach near the pool. But you can get a simple cocktail for free.

The bay is windless. But last time, at the end of November, the water was warmer (you could swim for an hour and admire the fish) and the sun was warmer. In December, we spent about 30 minutes in the water until we started to feel the heat and wanted to get out into the sun. The sun set behind the mountain in December at 4:45 PM. People started whistling for everyone to get out of the water, because dangerous fish start hunting. In December, it wasn't at all cold, even for a night stroll in the Old Town: a light cotton sweater and linen pants were enough. So, jeans and jackets weren't necessary.

The rooms were clean and in good condition, as were the furniture. The bedding was white. The cleaning staff in both rooms were unobtrusive and diligent. Thank you to them for that.

Beach towels are changed whenever you want.

There's entertainment, unobtrusive. There's also evening entertainment.

Water is provided in 0.5-liter bottles at the bar near the restaurant (available 24 hours a day). A liter is also brought during housekeeping. Water is never a problem. Just remember to bring it from the bar to your room.
We arrived late one night from the Old Town and missed dinner. We asked at reception, just in case, and were delighted to learn that we could grab a snack at the bar next to reception. We were very happy with the sandwiches and tea! So, another plus for the hotel is that you won't go hungry!

When you get your key, check the card to see where snacks, pizza, and ice cream are available, if you're interested.

Mango Market and George Clooney offer free transfers. Find the Viber number on their website and sign up there. There are no travel restrictions. If you've purchased $100 worth of food at Mango as a group, they'll call a private taxi to your hotel. If you haven't, you'll share a return transfer—you'll have to wait for it if it's recently departed when you left. Prices at Mango and Clooney are 99% the same. Important: a 2-liter canister of frozen juice at Mango Market is actually 1800ml!! ! But their liter bottle is a liter! At Cluny, fresh juices only come in small bottles.
The Russian Pharmacy offers a free transfer: spend $30 on a purchase. Be careful, vaunted cold medications are rejected at the border and fined for containing prohibited substances: "1.2, 3" and Congestal tablets contain pseudoephedrine, a powerful vasoconstrictor.

!! ! If you're not familiar and traveling for the first time, make a list of the medications you need so you don't get lost (pharmacists speak excellent Russian): in Egypt, well-known foreign-brand medications or local equivalents are excellent quality and much cheaper than in Ukraine! Laripro for the throat, headache tablets, collagen packets, and many, many other medications are often brought from Egypt in half a suitcase.

Transfers to all the mentioned locations can be ordered on the website via messenger. They are always friendly and speak Russian.

At the airport, they told us that the mango counts as carry-on baggage (10 kg), not as a separate item from your bag, carried on the plane in boxes, and no one weighs it, like before. They were also picky about the 20 kg baggage weight—not a single kilogram over the limit. It was nerve-wracking. It was Fly One.
Here's my previous review of the hotel. I gave it a low rating, but the overall impression was good, and we'd go again! https://www.turpravda.com/eg/sharm_el_sheyh/Sharm_Plaza-h9756-r462965.html
Why we went a second time: The price-conscious alternative to Siwa Sharm, according to reviews, had thin doors between rooms (which could be audible), dirty rooms, no towel change, and the entrance to the water was from a pontoon. Also, Siwa is further north, near the airport.

All in all, if there are no other affordable options, I'll go back to Sharm Plaza!

We went on the "All-in-One. Lost Land" tour with Empire of Tourism: a 35-minute ATV ride, a Bedouin oasis with tea, a 10-minute camel ride, a 35-minute glass-bottom boat ride, a banana boat ride, and a 3-hour yacht excursion with diving (yes, it was included! ) for only $60 per person! None of the local guides on the beach believed us that they would be honest and that all this would be included in the $60. They weren't. The tour was wonderful! I found "Empire of Tourism" from some youtube blogger. You can pay with a Ukrainian card in hryvnia or in cash in dollars. Pay on the bus. Not in advance.
