I stayed at the hotel with my husband for 7 days. The hotel is not 5 stars as they write everywhere, but the average four, and not new, but renovated old, and not completely renovated. This hotel used to be called Rauf. Now Sol and mar riva verld. There are 3 hotels on the territory - Sol and Mar Riva Beach, Sol and Mar Riva Club, and Sol and Mar. Sol and Mar Club was opened in April 2010, Sol and Mar Riva Beach was opened a week before our arrival. These 2 hotels are located on the first line near the sea, which is very convenient. The third hotel is located at the entrance to the territory, you need to go to the sea for some time, during our stay it was preparing to open.
From the outside and inside, Riva Beach is beautifully made (I liked it more than the Club), but if you look closely, you can see old furniture, smeared holes, walls, etc. Cleaned in the rooms every day, in principle, not bad. But from time to time they forget to report something - either a towel, or shampoo and shower gel, or garbage bags. The bed should be changed every 3 days, but we never understood if they changed it or not, as it was not perfectly clean.
Beach towels are issued free of charge on the card on the beach or near the pool once a day (at the beginning of our arrival it was possible to rent and change during the day, and then after a large influx of tourists, they said that you can take and return only once).

The beach is nice, lots of sunbeds. The sea is also good and warm, first you need to go shallow to the depth. It is better to take coral slippers, because. the bottom is covered with algae, which is not very pleasant. There is also a small coral reef, where enough beautiful fish swim. There is a sunken ship at a depth away from the beach, where they say there is a large coral reef with a lot of living creatures.
Service at the hotel is very poor. A small number of staff who fuss and do not keep up. It is clear that people are tired.
Food is generally good, drinks so-so. My husband is happy, but at the end of my vacation my stomach started to hurt.
Animation was, but weak and in the Riva Club.
We went on an excursion to Cairo (from Anex Tour, although you can buy 2 times cheaper from local operators. Anex tour then made an excursion to Sharm El Sheikh for everyone). Thanks to the guide Isham. A very good guide, speaks good Russian, will tell you everything, tell you.
In general, a good stay, but next time I would choose another hotel, not in Nabq.
