For everyone going to the hotel - this is not the declared 5 *, not 4, at best 3, even by Egyptian standards !!!
In Egypt for the 3rd time, rested in Turkey, I love India (despite everything). So I know what I'm talking about.
Who writes laudatory reviews about 5 * stars - for me it remains a question, because everyone who rested with me in this period in this hotel agreed on one thing - the MAXIMUM 3 * (Egyptian) hotel.
Filling - 100%.
Arabs - 60-70%, there are civilized, but most of the horror (gypsies), garbage is everywhere. Throwing garbage / food out of the room onto the street is in the order of things. At the same time, vouchers are sold to them many times cheaper than to Ukrainians / Belarusians. The remaining 30-40% are victims from Ukraine and Belarus. ALL visitors are shocked, on the 3rd day they put up and try to relax.

The dirt is incredible - all surfaces (floors, tables, stairs) are stained, dishes are greasy and dirty to such an extent that it is disgusting to take it in your hands. "Serving" tables with dirty napkins/tablecloths with remnants of YESTERDAY'S food. . . Paper napkins and toothpicks appeared only after several calls to the Guest Service.
Rooms are a separate issue. Dirt is the same as in the whole hotel. A special tin - old numbers. If you got into the room after the restoration in 2014 - you are lucky! Dirt is the same, but at least the bathroom, beds, air conditioning more or less.
They explain everything by the crisis... Animators (our girls) say that this is not the worst option in Egypt at this time...
However, how does the crisis affect the work of maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel at least at level 4?
The sea is good, there are enough sun loungers, there are enough fish on the reef.
There is dumb (so as not to get poisoned), but you can survive. In the morning - natural yogurt, soft cheese (something like soft feta), eggs, scrambled eggs. The bread is NOT tasty - rolls are underbaked inside, cakes (like Indian chapatis) are tasteless. Vegetable soup - salty water with cubes of zucchini, carrots. Puree soup (onion, mushroom) - a portion of starch with frying. Boiled rice, beef stew (in various versions), hummus (only 2 times), Italian pasta, scrambled eggs, pastries are edible. Bananas, oranges, melon (green), apples, fresh fruit dates.
Drinks - Pepsi (norm. ), UPPI (many call it "juice") and instant Nescafe from the machine (in various variations - "Cappuccino", "Latte", "Hot Chocolate" with powdered milk).
Natural drinks - for money (for example, natural espresso coffee - 2 USD / cup).
During the evening watering the lawn incredibly stinks of sewage. As it turned out, "purified" sewer water is used for these purposes in Egypt. The degree of its cleaning in this hotel is indicated by the evening stink...
The animators are smart, they try - yoga, exercises, aqua aerobics, darts, evening shows (at the level of home amateur performances, but fun, with soul - they always went to the show).
BUT animators do not solve the problem of Dirt throughout the hotel and TOTAL savings on everything.

Summing up - if you go here - know it's 3 *. A hotel where you can expect at least 4 * will cost you more than 400-450 USD per person. That is, the total cost of a trip to Egypt in the very heat, but in HUMAN conditions - from 1000 US dollars per person for 8 days. BUT guys, this is the price of Greece, in which everything is clean, tasty (bread, cheeses, vegetables, fresh SEAFOOD), people, etc.
Who writes good reviews? - animators or Russian-speaking employees of the hotel / chain / tour operator, or maybe travel agents who need to “pump” Egypt into you in the very heat at the price of normal Greece.
Good luck choosing a country and a hotel!
