We stayed in mid-August for 10 nights.
The hotel is located in the Hadaba area, about 20 minutes drive from the airport.
Settlement. We arrived in the evening and were seated fairly quickly. At our request to give a room on the 2nd floor with a sea view, we were told that for an improved room you have to pay extra 10 bucks (of course, in the pocket of the receptionist). We made it clear that we would change the room until we liked it. After that, they immediately gave us what we asked for, without any additional payments. Suitcases in the rooms themselves are not allowed to carry - while registering at the reception - all suitcases are forced to be left on the street under guard. After check-in, you go to your suitcases, the hotel workers write the room number on them. After that, the hotel workers also bring the suitcases to the room, for which they expect a tip (usually 1-2 dollars). In general, the entire check-in system at the hotel is well-established, without delays.

Apartments. The room is clean, tidy, inside and out designed in oriental style. Far from new, but it is clear that the repair was refreshed relatively recently: nothing is stained, not cracked, everything works. The room has an LCD TV (mostly Arabic channels), a small safe with a combination lock, a minibar (a small refrigerator built into the cabinet under the TV), a fairly spacious built-in wardrobe. In the bathroom, the shower is made in the spirit of Soviet times - just a tiled niche with a drain hole in the floor. You probably haven't heard of showers here. I was pleased with the presence of a hair dryer, there is also a kettle, cups, tea-coffee-sugar, a clothes dryer on the balcony. Who has a lot of gadgets, it makes sense to take a tee with you to connect chargers, because there are not many outlets.
In the mini-bar on the first day, as a present, we were given several cans of local fanta. If you do not want alcohol to be left in the room, you must indicate in the tour operator's questionnaire - "without alcohol. " In the future, every day put 2-3 bottles of 0.5 liters of local drinking water. Cleaned every day, at a convenient time when we were not. Almost every day they twisted different figures from a towel, which our child was very happy about. Towels were changed only if they were thrown on the floor (about which there is an information plate in the bathroom). The bed for 10 days was not changed even once, only turned over to the other side when making up. In general, the room was satisfied.
Internet. A big plus of this hotel is free wi-fi. However, good speed and stability of the connection is only in the reception building and near it, it does not catch on the beach at all.
Territory. The hotel has a very beautiful, well-groomed area. There are palm trees, hedges, flowers. There is a beautiful fountain with steps, which for some reason did not work with us. The territory is not very large and not small - there is where to walk in the evening, but at the same time everything is quite compact. With a slow step, the entire territory can be bypassed in 15-20 minutes. In the evening, all this is illuminated by multi-colored lanterns - it looks just great!

Pools. The hotel has 4 pools: a small pool for relaxation (deep, children were not allowed into it), a far pool near the new building, a children's pool with water slides (however, adults also rode the slides), and, in fact, the main pool is closer to the beach, near which the main movement passes. Near each pool there is a bar, near the children's it is non-alcoholic. The pools are cleaned every day, there is almost no chlorine in the water. Near the main pool and the pool with slides they give out and accept beach towels, which is convenient. They kick out of the children's pool at 5 pm from the rest at 6, explaining this by a cold snap at this time.
Sea. Words are simply not enough to describe the beauty of the Red Sea. The water is clear to the very bottom. Entrance to the sea from the pontoon. Beautiful coral reef and many small fish - mostly some minke whales, and surgeons. To see rare recognizable species, you need to swim more often - they are not always there. We saw moray eels, turtles, balistodes, stingrays, pufferfish (puffer), Napoleon. Poisonous species (scorpion fish, angel fish, cone snail) were not seen, and thank God. One day there were jellyfish, they did not sting painfully. In the water, you should be more careful near the corals, and do not tease the fish - surgeons - they can slash. Almost every day, one of the vacationers cut himself badly, judging by the pools of blood on the pontoon. Also, you should not walk around the reef near the shore - there are a lot of sea urchins. It is better to bring a tube and a mask with you, here the prices are very high.
The beach is clean, the sunbeds are not very broken, which was good. There were always enough beds. There is a diving center on the beach, they also offer excursions - the prices are two times cheaper than those of the tour operator. A standard set of paid marine entertainment is diving, banana, tablet, parachute. For some reason there were no aquabikes, which is a pity. Paid services are offered every day, even if you say that you are not interested and ask them not to offer you anymore, they will still come up every day until you lie that the money is over. They offered a massage rather aggressively. We were very pleased with the sea.
Food. The food is quite varied. 3 times a day - buffet. Meat (beef and chicken) in different forms - grilled, stewed, fried in batter. One - two types of fish, also boiled or grilled. Potatoes, rice, cereals, pasta - everything is there. From vegetables - cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, cabbage, lettuce, olives - everything is fresh. There were also vegetable salads. Lots of different spices and sauces. From flour - pita bread, bread, pizza. In the morning there were pancakes, omelettes, cuts for sandwiches.

I really liked the dessert part: puffs with jam, cakes, jelly, soufflé - just super! We did not see a variety of children's cuisine. The first courses are also not so hot - two types of thin soup without thick. Those who are used to hearty borscht are definitely not here. The assortment of fruits is not large, as for summer: melons, oranges, dates, bananas, grapefruit. Watermelon was 1 time in 10 days. There were no peaches or apples. Of the drinks - cola, fanta, powdered juices (who remembers the yupi in the 90s - it's the most), beer, alcoholic cocktails, coffee, tea. The same drinks, as well as fast food (french fries, burgers) are available for lunch in a cafe near the beach.
Ice cream is also served closer to dinner near the beach.
In the evening in the main restaurant there were sometimes queues for plates, and there were not always enough tables in the restaurant building - you had to go to the tables on the street where there is no air conditioning. The ideal time is right before the start of dinner at 19.00.
The hotel has three a la carte restaurants: Italian, Oriental, Indian. The Italian restaurant this season duplicates the main restaurant (buffet) to relieve it. You can go to the Oriental and Indian 1 time for free, by prior appointment at the reception. Everything in Indian is very spicy. In general, they were satisfied with the kitchen, well done chefs!
Staff. The hotel staff is quite friendly, with humor, everyone understands Russian. Special thanks to the bartenders of the cafe near the beach for delicious cocktails and funny jokes - thanks to them the mood was always upbeat. At the reception, too, everything is on top, all issues were resolved promptly. The only thing I didn't like: vacationers - Arabs, of whom there are a lot in the hotel, strove to brazenly climb everywhere without a queue, and the staff served them at the same time, despite the fact that they climbed without a queue. At first, this put us into a stupor, and then we simply began to push them away so that they would not climb. I also recommend looking after things near the pool - an Arab girl stole a cap from a child while she was swimming.

Animation. The animators at the hotel are mega super! Everyone is active and positive. Lots of competitions and games. From sports activities: morning exercises, aqua aerobics, darts, water polo, yoga, Latin dances, volleyball, table tennis. The DJ at the main pool arranged various competitions. Also excellent children's animation - drawing, Lego, cartoons, face painting, in the evening - mini disco. The daughter was delighted. Unforgettable evening shows - every day something new: comedy, fire and fakir shows, Mr. and Mrs. hotel contests, Egyptian show, foam party at night near the pool - I really liked it. I also liked the trip to the Dolce Vita nightclub - we recommend it. Overall, 10 out of 10 for animation.
Overall, this hotel is great for families. Of course, not 5, by Egyptian standards, closer to 4. But on the other hand, the price of a ticket does not bite much compared to other hotels. From the pros - the sea, animation, polite hotel staff, good food. Of the minuses, a large number of Arab vacationers who are far from the culture, as well as rude hotel guides, Egyptians of the Aneks-tour operator, who politely communicated only with those who bought excursions from them, and the rest were specially rude (however, you can be rude to them in answer, we did).
And further. When you fly back, at Sharma airport they accept luggage only in film. If the hotel guides of the "Anex-tour" will tell you before leaving that they don't wrap in film at the airport, and offer to wrap it in film at exorbitant prices at the last hotel on the way to the airport - don't be fooled - there is film at the airport, and they help to wrap it for free . Better yet, take the film and tape with you from home. Well, that's all, I hope this opus will be useful to someone.
