Rested with my wife in mid-September 2016, were the first time in this country. We definitely liked the rest, we do not regret a single penny. The room is well-groomed, clean, all the equipment works fine, you can contact other numbers by landline phone, and not just the reception desk. By the way, when contacting the reception, the problems that have arisen are eliminated promptly and even in the middle of the night (we had a problematic neighbor from the locals who listened to music very loudly for 2 nights in a row). The Internet catches not throughout the hotel (best in the lobby, restaurants and around the pool, sometimes you can catch it in the room, but this is less common. The hotel and the territory are being slowly renovated. The beach is clean, equipped, the entrance to the sea is via a floating pier - pontoon, there is a shower to wash off the salt water. The sea is clean, not muddy, it was very interesting to swim with a mask near the coastal reef)))) Lifeguards are very attentive, despite the large number of tourists.
The food is excellent, provided by three restaurants, one on the beach and two in the main building. Most of the products are fresh, although a couple of times I came across sour tomatoes, the dishes are tasty and satisfying. It is important to decide whose menu you like best. For example, we always dined and dined at San Marino and had breakfast at Half Moon. The hotel staff at all facilities are friendly, calm, responded to all requests immediately and in full, they speak Russian well and a little Ukrainian, I did not see any "not such" attitude. I would especially like to single out a guest service employee named Diana, because of her really high-level responsible attitude to her work (unlike most hotel guides of the Anex tour), friendly and sensitive attitude towards hotel guests. I would also like to single out the animators separately, and all of them - the guys gave their work to the fullest, trying to entertain people and not respond to outright rudeness on the part of some vacationers. Exercises, darts, aqua aerobics, aqua splash, yoga, Latin dances were held, as well as water polo games, volleyball and other interesting competitions. Also, this team organized concerts in the evenings, and quite a good level, they performed better than the invited guests)))
Now fly in the ointment. And it is represented by most of the hotel guides of the Anex tour, if not all. So, from the very beginning. On the first day, a meeting-lecture "how to behave in Sharm El-Sheikh" was held with the new arrivals, during which, as it turned out later, the hotel guide Mohammed hung noodles on our ears.

First. We were immediately informed that "some kind of special" regime had been introduced in Sinai, so we were subject to registration with the tourist police of the peninsula every time we left the hotel. Sheer bullshit: the only registration is to fill out a migration card at the airport. Who does not believe, try to go outside the gates of the hotel to the street - the guards do not care, the entrance back upon presentation of the hotel's bracelet. Keep your passport with you in the city.
Second. In view of the first myth, we are obliged to buy excursions only from Anex-tour, otherwise ordinary guides do not register with the police, insurance is lost, etc. etc. Insurance does not go anywhere, if you are insured, then you are insured - all the same, Anex-tour is just intermediaries between you and LOCAL tour organizers, of which there are plenty at every step, you should at least go to Al-Benouk Street (Bank-street).
They also demand to decide on an excursion before 12 noon on the same day, but this does not even need comments.
Third. In the first two days, a free trip to the shopping centers of the city for shopping is provided. These are ordinary outlets - friends of guides, unfastening their percentage. The prices there are so-so, so it’s easier to take a taxi and go to the market in the old city, or walk there on foot through El Fanar street to Al Benouk street, then turn right after the police station and you will come to the place along El Salam street. Or bargain with a taxi driver (before getting into the car !!!!! ) - my wife and friends did not go back on foot, but bargained up to two dollars for everyone.
Even during the return transfer (09/21/2016 to flight QU 4432), the hotel guide Ihab began to be frankly rude in response to questions related to luggage and the airport.
So, to summarize the above - the hotel, the sea, the sun, the beach, the food, the staff, the animators - excellent. But the hotel guides of the Anex-tour got a bad mark for insincerity.
