It makes no sense to describe the flight.
Check-in: arrived in the evening, so there was almost no waiting. The bracelets were put on right away (when you leave the hotel, the bracelets are not removed, which is very pleasing, so if you have a late flight, this does not cause any problems). We were lucky with the location of the room (probably), it was near the small Oasis pool, quiet, calm, its own bar, mostly Italians, Poles and Czechs. There are buildings right behind the entrance, in front of the reception, I haven’t been in the rooms themselves, I won’t say anything, but in the evenings they pour water from the septic tanks there, the amber is indescribable.
Room: the usual standard, very tired (like the rest of the hotel, they say it is after renovation, but we had an old one), LCD TV, safe, air conditioning, refrigerator, everything worked. The front door is normal, however, the electronic key periodically flew off, the rest of the doors are wooden, swollen and sagging, the toilet-shower did not close completely. Cleaning is done every day, as - did not pay attention.

Territory: Not very big, cascading, quite green, without styling. The territory is looked after, washed, swept, cleaned, scratched lawns.
The sea and the beach: small outlets to the water with sand (maximum waist-deep), where you can bathe small children. There are several beaches, at different levels. There are practically no free sunbeds, if you don’t take it in the morning (again, we didn’t really care, we had sunbeds by the pool, not far from the sea, ran (done, like me) to the sea with a mask, swam on the reef for half an hour, an hour , rested by the pool and you can run again).
Pontoon: pontoon, it's tin. Not very wide, it almost always sways in a wave (after it you become a sea wolf and acquire an appropriate gait), the platform itself is also not large and, if suddenly, a lot of people come running (it never ran), it will not be overcrowded.
The reef is normal, not very lively, there are a lot of fish, especially if you swim away from the pontoon, there is something to see. Not the Ras Mohamed reserve, of course, but not naked either.
Restaurants: two main ones, one on the beach with fast food, two a la carte (I didn’t go to any, I think it’s a waste of time IMHO, but whoever wants and needs to kill time is welcome). The tables are cleared and laid very quickly, there is always a place (well, maybe half an hour after the opening and there is tension). FOOD DOES NOT END. Once again: the food never ends! Meat, fish (portions) are not squeezed and no one will look condemningly. And since we walked closer to closing (except for breakfast), well, how closer - in an hour, an hour and a half, then there were no problems at all, at least heaped a mountain of meat or fish.
People, if desired, take everything out of the restaurant (fruits, grapes, pies, hamburgers, hot dogs, shawarma, etc. ) that they want and no one limits or stops, there are even containers and cling film - if you want, dial, they will wrap it up, pull it, and they will also give you a package, it’s very convenient if you go on an excursion where they don’t feed and when you fly away - on the road.

Food: No food, nothing to eat! (I always laugh when I read this phrase in the reviews). No, they don't make foie gras and fondue (well, and five more! : ))))).
Guys, what are you talking about? Stewed beef (or even two or three types), boiled, fried, grilled chicken for lunch and dinner, 2-3 types of fish, fried and grilled and under the fill (I’m lying, more, I forgot about salted and smoked), sausages and meatballs; for lovers of hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, shawarma (with meat or chicken), french fries. Three types of al dente pasta with three different sauces, grilled and stewed and fresh vegetables (lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, dill, parsley). Once every two or three days - sea reptiles, crabs, shrimps, squids, mussels (I saw how people scooped up a whole plate of one thing for themselves, and no one told them, like, that's enough. It ends - they make more. Pureed soups and (tadadadam! ) borscht! (True, lean, like all soups in Egypt, but there is a dish with that name (I didn’t eat it, here I’ll eat borscht in Egypt : ))) In short, there’s a lot to describe and it makes no sense, man, who will not find in Sunrise what to eat - well, I don’t even know....Fuagrist and fondue...
Drinks: beer from kegs, normal, bottled (bullshit). Alcohol is local, and that says it all. Cocktails interfere with ANY, to the point that you yourself can tell the composition and quantity of any ingredients (but the alcohol is local). WINE (surprisingly for Egypt of good quality) red and white, rather semi-dry than dry. Fanta, sprite, cola, schweppes, etc. , juices from UPI and from bags, fresh orange juice in the morning. Coffee from coffee machines is EXCELLENT.

Doesn't sound like a very good review, does it? But no! The main thing in Sunrise is the attitude of the staff to work and to you. They do everything very quickly and with a smile. Clear the table / set the table - very quickly, almost running. We were invited to different parts of the restaurant (friend, come to me, I will also bring you wine (no dollars)). Bar: what do you want friend? Beer, cocktail, coffee - sit down friend, you've come to rest, I'll bring it now. This is not the first day - the bartenders remember what and at what time I drink (but dollars, but if you thank me, then a friend twice). The pool boy walks around and MOVE your umbrella so you always have a shadow over you. If you start moving yourself - it flies, friend, lie down, rest, what couldn't you say?
The administration constantly monitors what is happening and how it is happening. The bar chief can come to the bar and sit on the sidelines for 2-3 hours, watching how the staff works, the cleaners can follow the cleaner and wipe the baseboard with a napkin (I saw it myself). The chief of the pools - sit down somewhere and from the side to watch the fights, then give a cradle (as we had in the pool), and the fight generally starts to rustle without stopping.
In short, this is not the first time I have been in Egypt (Turkey, Tunisia... ), I was in fives, fours and threes, if you do not bother with the old number of rooms and can adapt to a specific hotel (pontoon - tin), a positive person who does not look for flaws , and who came to rest on a very beautiful and gentle sea, you can go to Sunrise. Or not to Sunrise... Or not to go....Tourist truth with reviews (treat them critically, everyone has their own truth and their own vision of relaxation) to help you!
P. S. I forgot. . . Do not take excursions from a hotel guide, no matter what operator you have, and no matter what they tell you, what they don’t scare you with (especially if you have a separate additional insurance, I always insure additionally)! Take it on the street in a trusted, reputable office (each district of Sharm has a couple of its own). It will be the same as the hotel guide, only 50-60 percent cheaper.
