Rested in Sunrise in the period from 4 to 18 November. In Egypt 6 times, but in November for the first time, were in December, January. To be honest, I like the winter period more, as it was very hot. But I'll start in order. . .
We flew from Anex, there were no problems. Plane, transfer - everything is coordinated.
When I flew to this hotel, of course, I read the reviews, the hotel liked the reviews. That year we rested at the nearby Royal Grand Sharm hotel - we liked it very much, but because we wanted to change the picture, we chose Sunrise, which we later VERY regretted. I want to immediately warn that the mood was positive for the rest, and we were not looking for flaws. When I read the negative reviews of others, I thought that these things that people write about will not be able to affect the rest in any way, but I was wrong...

Settlement…. The Arabs have become overwhelmed... I have a rest in Egypt 6 times and have never paid money for the settlement....But in this hotel they will force you... Maybe we just got into that period when there were a lot of people, but we were forced to pay. We arrived in the morning, were at the hotel at 9 am, check-in at 14.00. We are sitting waiting... I see half of our bus has already been settled... And already 12 - and we are waiting... We ask the guys who have already gathered for the beach, they say they gave $ 50 and quickly placed... My husband went to ask, but they say $ 70 and no problems … If it weren’t for my old mother, who was in Egypt for the first time, she would have raised such a scandal, but we had to give up, because we had to sit and sit... The guys flew with us in a big company, so they didn’t pay anything. We waited until 15, got drunk at the reception of vodka, they were given rooms outside the hotel, on the outskirts, but they were already so good... that they agreed to everything.
Rooms... We were settled in building 4 on the second floor. And it’s good, even though there was a balcony, on the first one it’s not balconies, but the breed on them and the stench is terrible... They fertilize some kind of rubbish grass and it’s impossible to go out onto the balcony. On the second floor, it doesn’t stink so much. . We had two double rooms, in the same building, not next to each other, but on the same floor. The rooms are small, 13 meters, when compared with the Royal, a neighboring hotel, so there are mansions (30 meters room)...
Cleaning… Towels were supposed to be changed every day, but if we were changed once in a week, then that's good! Towels are not white, but gray.... When you take a shower, it smells very strongly of sewerage, you need to flush the water and wait half an hour, then go into the shower. This is the first hotel in my experience where they never made a swan, a turtle, or anything from towels in 14 days…. You say, so it was necessary to give a dollar? Why give? Do it, thank you... My mother put it as an experiment, but nothing happened... Soap, shampoo - until you remind you that it's over - they won't give it.
Food… There are no complaints about the food… Everything is very tasty. Much better than the neighboring hotel.
Pools…. There are three swimming pools on site. Everything is very conveniently located, almost near each kurpus. But the Ukrainians… this is something… I now understand why they are so disliked there, and Russians too. A company sits by the pool, drinks beer and eats a ram, there is a newspaper on the table, everything is as it should be, the woman does not have time to clean, the men do not have time to run for beer, fish fat flows down their hands, and instead of going to the shower, wash our hands, we go where ? Of course, in the pool, and my mouth and everything is mine....After that, we stopped going to this pool, it is called RELAX.

Another inconvenience is the beach towels!!! ! Always in all hotels, you give cards - they give you towels, and change as much as you want per day....Here it is a separate issue. Change must be strictly after 17.00. And if you sleep in your room after the beach and didn’t have time, then they can be dirty for a week.
Sea…. Super!! ! We went to pantone in the Royal, where Akhmed is a whistleblower, our friend, he always helped my mother to enter the water. Yes, and entry into the water in Royal is better, in Sunrise there are no two steps. Volleyball is also better in Royal, they also went there...
Animation…. Italian. Boring. . . You won't understand their humor. They take care of children, put on shows, but everything is very primitive.
The shops…. A taxi to the old city is $3, but the New City is $5. Bargain! Very cool leather shops. The girl Maya walks on the beach, she is from Georgia, a very good, friendly person, she will tell you everything and tell you everything. We bought a lot of beautiful, exclusive things, but again, bargain.
Conclusion: if you compare these two hotels, then go to Royal, everything is much better there, only the food is not so varied. I do not recommend this hotel, and I definitely will not go here a second time !! !
