Good afternoon! The hotel was originally planned to be different, but the travel agency offered Sunrise Select Diamond Beach Resort 5 * as the price at that moment was more than affordable. I agreed and was very pleased. In Egypt 4 times, I always go to 5 * hotels, there is something to compare with. We arrived on the morning of March 9, just on that day a real thunderstorm began, with thunder and lightning (they say that in Egypt it rains every 4 years, and a thunderstorm every 10 years))) The downpour was real - flooded both the reception and some rooms, water flowed from the street, flooded the shops on site, but after dinner everything calmed down and we swam in the warm sea. It was really windy and overcast after the rain. Although the wind season is from November to March in Egypt, three days later it was already + 30 and without wind.
What we liked:
- location of the hotel: very close to the sea from the room.

- the territory of the hotel: well-planned and well-groomed, everything is in bloom, a lot of greenery.
- food: varied and tasty. In Egypt, dishes often look beautiful, but taste nothing interesting. The food in this hotel is delicious, we were satisfied. There were many meat dishes, sweets, delicious seafood soups, a variety of cottage cheese and a lot of fruits. We ate at the main Half Moon restaurant, and drank the most delicious wine in Italian.
- the attitude of the staff, no one demanded a dollar for the delivered suitcase, in general the staff is not intrusive. Of course, I left a tip, but defiantly no one was waiting for them. Good lifeguards on the beach are constantly near the pontoon and on the pontoon. Mom scratched her leg on the coral, then the lifeguard brought a first aid kit, after treating the scratch, he sealed it with a band-aid. Just nice guys.
- beach: pontoon, but you can also swim aground near the shore without reaching the corals. So the children have a place to flounder.
- pools: there are three of them, my son liked to swim in a large pool, the water did not smell of chlorine, although I saw in the evening how the filters were treated with something. In general, the pools are very clean, the tiles are without stripes of dirt, they shine all around.
- cleaning in the rooms: the beds were changed every day, we left a dollar and we were laid out figurines from the towels.
- a special attraction of the hotel is the fish Fedya, (aka Vasya). This is a fish that every day in the same place, on the right side of the pontoon, swims and waits to be fed. I asked the lifeguard about the fish, he answered that the fish had been "working as a beggar" for the fourth year already. But you can't feed! Of course, everyone secretly feeds Fedya...
What did not like:
- free Wi-Fi on the terrace does not work well, does not work at all. Although declared.
- Beach towels. For the first time I encountered the fact that towels were not issued on the beach. Beach towels had to be dragged from the room to the beach and back, not at all comfortable, given their volume.

-Bathroom, or rather a shower room, like in a hostel - a small nook is lined with tiles.
But, these are trifles. The hotel is really good. Walking along the coast in the evening, we looked at neighboring hotels and once again made sure that ours is the best.
