The Briscoe company is so-so, the flight was normal, on time, but the transfer was extremely long, all the tourists had already settled into the minibus, then they began to shuffle people. As a result, they put us in a big bus. But this claim is not for the hotel. The hotel is located well, around the hotel is green, there are shops, a street with other hotels. You can always go out in the evening and walk to La Strada, or just take a walk. We liked the pizzeria near the hotel. Check in was quick and the reception staff was friendly and helpful. We contacted them several times, resolved issues quickly and with a smile. They understand Russian, but they answer in English or in broken Russian to “you”. It is terribly unpleasant if you are under 50 years old and they “poke” you, so they remembered English. The rooms are good, spacious, with a normal view. We had a view of the so-called garden, that is, a lawn with a couple of palm trees. Actually, we asked for a room in a quiet part of the hotel, which we got. . In general, it is clean, everything works, the linen is clean, the towels are white, large enough. The cleaner also turned out to be a nice guy, showed up occasionally, asked “okay? ”, But that we answered “okay” and left a tip, 1 dollar every 2 days. The territory is spacious, but bald. It seems that there are palm trees, but they are all clustered together, so you can’t wait for the shade from palm trees during the day. June is a hot month in Egypt, don’t say, we didn’t always endure the heat well. Saved by the wind from the sea, which was refreshing. Probably, the absence of at least some shade on the way to the sea spoiled the mood in the hotel. Therefore, the territory is not our option. Before that, we rested in Rehan 4 and Sonesta Beach, both hotels were very green. The sea is not very far away, the beach is spacious, clean, the sunbeds are comfortable, the mattresses are covered with leatherette. The sea is shallow, then there is depth and a reef. It is very good that there was a pontoon, so it was possible to do without coral slippers, it is more comfortable to enter the water from the pontoon. The reef is normal, the water is very clean, to see large fish, stingrays, moray eels is not here. It is necessary to swim on a yacht or relax in another place. But we do not chase fish, so the sea suited us. Often in the morning a red flag hung, the sea was restless. We didn't like the food. Compared to the Sonestoy, just do horror. A very poor selection. Maybe they will throw me slippers, but the food is on a solid three-ruble note. Breakfast is standard, always loved scrambled eggs, yogurt with cereal and pastries. Our standard breakfast set at the hotel. But here even sausages and cheese were disgusting, they took an empty omelette, pastries. Here are the pastries for the five, there is nothing to hide. For lunch, broths with something like vegetables or oblong pasta, chicken in just one form, beef or fish, also one kind. Everything is prepared very primitively, no tasty sauces. Even traditional delicious eggplant dishes, which are just a fairy tale in Egypt, are somehow oversalted and lack spices. Dinner is the same, only the grill pleased the taste buds, and even then not always. Juices and non-juices, alcohol is probably the cheapest. Darkness, in short. We ate several times near the hotel, I don’t remember the name, but there is a good pizzeria and an oriental restaurant. I also forgot to mention the bartenders. It's just awful. They are impolite, without a tip anywhere, they don’t even look in your direction, they only look askance at the British, curry favor with them. The waiters are better, but they also need to be fed with tips. We didn’t go on excursions from the guide, he was still a shot, he said, we must immediately order, issue a permit from the police and other crap. How many left the hotel, no one stopped anyone and no documents are asked. We chose a trip to Israel-Jordan at the Red Sea Travel Agency, or rather, a couple from our hotel went with them, and we joined them. I liked it, the main thing is that I did not overpay. The hotel, of course, is not for everyone, if people are not picky in service and food, then it will do, but we will not go again for anything.
