Let's go from the tour operator JoinUp for 8 days. The hotel will be a good choice if the region and the environment are more important to you than the hotel itself.

1. Beach. We were on it on the first day, we did not like it. Everything is sad with corals. We started walking to the right, towards the Baron Hotel, and stopped in a wild area near it. There the coral reef was more interesting.

2. Pools. In January, no one swims in the hotel pools, because the water is very cold. And the heating is either not there, or not turned on.

3. Food. Mostly European. It often happens that salads for the evening are made from the leftovers of what was for lunch (and this sometimes applies not only to salads). Juices are highly diluted (two or even three times). The fish and fruits are very good. Delicious cucumbers and tomatoes. Sweets are outwardly varied, but the taste is very similar and almost all biscuits have different colors. The coffee machine in the dining room is usually open in the morning and hot water for tea is also available in the morning.
At other times, hot water was available from the electric kettle in the bar. In general, you can always eat. There are practically no dishes from Egyptian / Arabic cuisine.

4. Number. At first we were given a room in which, in principle, there was no hot water (as we were later admitted). When we asked if there would be water, they asked us to wait a while, "they will do it now. " When I came up for the fourth or fifth time, they said that there would be no water and that we could change this number if we wanted. We were transferred to another room. Generally well maintained. TV, refrigerator, safe, air conditioning, hair dryer and lighting worked properly. But there was mold on the walls in the bathroom which was washed off on the third or fourth day of our stay.

5. Room cleaning. Quite acceptable, but sloppy and not thorough. If you leave one dollar or a chocolate bar from Ukraine, then the cleaner turns a swan or an elephant out of towels.

6. The territory of the hotel. Very pleasant.
There are palm trees, different trees, flowering shrubs, lawns are constantly looked after. In the evening everything is beautifully illuminated.

7. Surroundings of the hotel.
No. 1. Nearby is a large Baron hotel with a good beach, which overlooks the street "Baron Boulevard" with souvenir shops and terribly annoying sellers. It will not be possible to pass by without talking to at least half of them!
No. 2. If you exit from the main exit and turn left, then there is a small group of shops 600 meters away, one of them is a grocery store (one of the few places in the area where goods are priced (in Egyptian pounds)).
No. 3. To the right of the hotel beach, near two bedside tables, there is a merchant Misha, who has souvenirs and products at an adequate price.
No. 4. Also inside the hotel itself there are several shops with nice prices (for example, swimming slippers were taken there for $ 3).

8. Excursions.

I really liked the excursions on a yacht with diving ($ 35) and the extended safari ($ 35) taken from the hotel guide (representative of JoinUp and Sun International), everything went well (however, when buying a safari, we were not warned that we would need coral slippers for swimming ). An excursion to the Ras Mohammed reserve ($ 20) taken from a hotel insider (Ahmed) will justify itself only if you go for a swim to the coral reefs. Perhaps the same excursions can be found for less money, we have not begun to find out.
The tour also contained two free tours: a sightseeing tour of the city (I liked it) and "shopping" (we brought it to the Moda Show leather and fur store, after which there were cosmetics, perfume and souvenir shops). Of course, for us, all prices were in dollars and overpriced, it's good that they didn't take anything.

Outcome. We are young and not spoiled, but we will not return to this hotel again, it has an atmosphere of some negligence and slight indifference, hidden under friendliness.
And in Sharm el-Sheikh there is something to see, I liked the city.
