Hello!
I want to share with everyone our exciting journey and vacation at the Sol Siren Hotel! Now everything is in order. It was the second time in Sharm.
Check in: rested from 01/10/2013 to 01/17/2013 (8 days, 7 nights) 2 adults from TezTour. We live in Kyiv, so we flew from Boryspil. The plane was delayed for 2 hours + 3.5 hours flight, in total we got to the hotel at 23.00 hours - the day was gone!!! ! We flew out on January 17 at 11 o'clock in the morning, and at 8.00 in the morning they took us from the hotel - another day was gone !!!!!! ! Total rested full 6 days instead of 8.

The main question that is now of interest to many is VISA!!! ! You can not buy it (we did not take it) if you are not going to go on excursions outside of Egypt (to Israel, for example, etc. ). Then at the airport, when passing through passport control, you say that you will only be in Egypt or Sinai. If you are going much further, then you buy a visa. And one more thing: if you go on an excursion to Ras Mohammed by bus, then a visa is also required, if by boat, a visa is not needed.
At the reception everything was done quickly, they put 10 dollars in the passport. with the hope that they will settle in a room, even if not with a sea view, but with a view of the pool. When we entered the room and opened the balcony, we were “very pleased” with the view of the construction site and the mountains!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ! But since we were very tired from the flight, we no longer went to change the number, and we thought that 10 dollars. maybe it's not money for them. Well figs with this. In general, the room is large and spacious, cleaning every day, left for 1 dollar. for which they received different figurines from towels every other day (photo below). Minus - poor supply of hot water, and there were always problems with the sink in the bathroom. Everything else in the room is excellent.
Meals: rating 9 out of 10. As in all 4-kah - the food is almost monotonous, but there was everything: fish, beef, very tasty vegetables (like grilled, I ate them every day), the cook cooked scrambled eggs, pasta with spices in front of us , a very large selection of sweets (cakes, cakes, pastries, buns, croissants, etc. ). Alcohol in the restaurant brings the waiter. You can also eat outside at the tables near the pool, next to the cook on the grill prepares shish kebab, fish, liver, etc. (everything was always very tasty) !!!! ! Also on the two pools and on the beach there is a bar where everything is also included (drinks and food). In general, of course, we were not hungry. The restaurant manager and all the hotel staff in general are very friendly! There are bartenders Ibragim and Ismail in the bar - good guys, they always poured alcohol without sparing)))))))
Beach and animation: the beach is small, everything is always clean, a lot of sunbeds, towels are given out at the pool, you won’t take them on the beach! There is a bus to the beach, but we walked 7 minutes.
THE ONLY TWO MINUSES (AND THE MOST IMPORTANT): !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1) NO CORAL REEF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ! !!!!!!!!!! ! There is nothing to see in the sea at all !!!! ! Just the sea. Panton is not long, made in a square, in this square there is something like a reef, but it's hard to call it that, there are few fish. Therefore, we went right to the beach of the Baron or Tiran hotel, Milea Sinai - there the reef is just awesome, colorful, a variety of fish, etc. Of course, it's a bit far to go there (20-30 minutes), but it's worth it. If they notice that you are from another hotel, they immediately kick you out and do not allow you to swim. Therefore, we turned the bracelets over and covered them with a T-shirt or something else and immediately dived into the sea so that less people would notice that we were “strangers”.
2) The beach of the Sol Siren hotel is located in a place where there is a constant cold current and winds blowing. At first we thought that we arrived in January, and in Egypt it is always windy and the sea is cold at this time of the year. Few people were swimming. Sometimes even getting your feet wet was very cold. But when we went to the beach of the Baron and Tiran hotels, it was as if we were in a completely different sea. The water is warm and there is no wind at all! We couldn't believe our eyes! We walked a kilometer, or a little more, but the picture is completely opposite !!!!!
The Sol Siren hotel is not alone on the territory, there is also the Sol Sharm hotel (as I understand it, from “one owner”), this is the Sol Hotels hotel chain. Therefore, the animation took place in that hotel, it is also very beautiful there and you could walk there! In general, the animators are great fellows. In the morning gymnastics on the beach, then yoga, then oriental dancing! You can play volleyball on the beach. In the evening, there is a disco on the territory of the Sol Sharm hotel, the animator-DJ John is generally the best! I also liked the animator girls Shenin and Nastya. Well done to all the guys - you are super !!!! ! Somewhere twice a week, animators can take to a disco in Soho, it costs like 5 dollars. from a person. (But we didn't go, so I can't say anything).
Excursions: Go to the street. Soho can be caught by a taxi as we said "behind the fence", i. e. outside the hotel (it will be cheaper), or from the hotel, ask your guide. We went from the hotel for 3 dollars. per person (this is round trip). Soho is very beautiful in the evening, everything is on fire, everything sparkles, fountains, discos, bars, shops, you can even go ice skating to the ice rink!! ! There is Dew Free, after arriving within 2 days with a passport, you can skimp there.

We also took an excursion to Ras Mohammed, sailed on a boat (there, of course, it is VERY BEAUTIFUL, words can not convey). Bought from local "behind the fence" for 35 dollars. if you take from a guide from your tour operator, it will be 10-20 dollars more expensive.
We rode quad bikes for 25 dollars. (taken from TurTeza), "behind the fence" is cheaper - it costs $ 15.
You can get to the old city for 10 dollars. (were traveling by taxi 6 people in the car). You need to bargain there to the last and buy everything for a penny. They cut prices by more than double. But you need to go only with men, it’s scary for girls alone there. They will stick very much!
The hotel as a whole: The territory is large, a lot of greenery and flowers, well-groomed. We really liked the hotel, I can say that I would come again, but since we really like to swim, and there is no reef there, we will certainly choose another one! But the fact that nature did this is not the hotel's fault!!! ! The pools are all unheated - that's why NOBODY swam in them, THEY ARE SIMPLY ICE! The hotel is more youthful and active, not for families.
Weather: in the evenings at this time of the year it is cold, I would even say very cold. In January-February, winds blow there, so when you leave the sea, the picture is not very pleasant. Therefore, take warm clothes - you will not regret it (jeans, trousers, sweatshirts with long sleeves). During the day, of course, it's good, even hot. Of course, you can sunbathe and swim, but from March to November, of course, it is better.
But despite all the small minuses, we liked the rest and the hotel))))))!!!!!!!!!!
Our assessment of the hotel is 9 out of 10. The rest was a success, everything was JUST SUPER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !
