Although it’s old, everything is in order, there were no particularly annoying moments.
From detergents — only liquid soap screwed to the wall.

**TERRITORY. **
Large, with a large swimming pool and a bar in the middle.
The entire territory consists of a labyrinth of small bungalows.
There is almost no greenery. Half of the hotel is either under renovation or abandoned. A quarter is renovated, another quarter accepts tourists without renovation.
People with weak legs should not go here, because you will have to walk a lot.
There are two bars on the territory: one by the pool, the other on the beach.

**SERVICE. **
In general, everything is fine.
No one was rude, but no one was in a hurry to please.

The room was cleaned mediocrely, but it was cleaned.
The animators spoke Italian and did not pay attention to Russian speakers at all.

**FOOD. **
Honestly, I thought it would be better.
I hoped that the Italians who dominate the hotel would force the staff to meet the standard. But no.
Everything tastes normal, but I haven't had a single dish in a week that I really liked.

A separate oddity is the serving of portions through glass. You give the employee a plate, and he puts half a spoonful of food, and you immediately ask for more, because half a child's portion is clearly not enough for an adult. In a word, absurd.

From fruits: dates, chopped pomegranate, chopped melon and strawberries.
From alcohol - beer and weak strong alcohol. We've seen worse, but it's still better to take something with you from home.
And one more unpleasant moment: there is no wine in the hotel. In general. Keep this in mind.

**SEA AND BEACH. **
The warmest winter bay in Sharm - this cannot be denied.
The most ideal beach for children in Sharm - also true.
The quietest bay (there is not even a flagpole) - and this is also a plus.

Now about the minuses.
The corals are completely trampled.
Eight years ago, when I was here, everything looked more decent.

The hotel does not have a pontoon, and to get to this trampled coral slope, you need to overcome a coral barrier, and at low tide it is not very pleasant to do this.
The beach is quite dense - people are literally on top of each other. It is tense with sunbeds, but the issue is being resolved.

**SUMMARY. **
The Red Sea is exactly what we forgive Egypt for: rude Arabs, questionable service, and poor food.
It, like a good wizard, washes away all the negativity with its embrace.

At the Faraana Reef Resort hotel, the sea seems to be there — and at the same time, it seems not to be there.
If you are traveling with small children or elderly relatives, this is probably one of the best options in all of Sharm el-Sheikh.
But if you are looking for a beautiful picture of the underwater world, you definitely shouldn't go here.


Everything else in the hotel is weak.
The fact that we are people with extensive travel experience and have already outgrown these "all-inclusives" (we only take All Inclusive in Egypt) allowed us not to spoil our vacation.
But if you have high demands on service, your vacation here will most likely be spoiled.

Of the pluses, the most Instagrammable place in Sharm is located nearby: the Farsha Cafe.
In the evening, when the lanterns are lit, it's worth taking a walk - you won't regret it.
