Stayed in October with a friend. My first and long-awaited trip to Egypt. Before choosing a hotel, I read a lot of reviews, all opposite to each other. I noticed that no one writes anything bad about any hotel that is less than 4 stars.
When I came to the travel agency to choose a hotel, I saw a grotto in the Radisson in the photo and just fell in love. I came home, read a bunch of negative reviews about the hotel, but still went.
The first thing that caught my eye was the dirt and debris that were everywhere outside the hotel. The road from the airport to the hotel looked like after the bombing, pits, heaps, barbed wire and garbage... it's everywhere (I won't say anything about Cairo at all, it was a deep shock).

Upon arrival at the hotel, we were quickly placed, we booked a room with a sea view, but by the time we checked in it was already dark and it was quite difficult to determine which side the sea was. At the reception, we were immediately offered to pay an extra $200 and settle in MarinaClab, from the advantages they explained that there would be a bathrobe with slippers and the opportunity to order a free breakfast in the room. We refused. Waking up in the morning, we immediately ran to see what kind of view opens from the balcony - it was super! You can see the sea and the pool and most of the hotel!
When choosing a hotel, the tour operator focused on the presence of a SPA center in the hotel. We were told that the Radisson has it, but it is not. There was a beauty salon, to whose services we resorted. Super massages, steam rooms, jacuzzi, etc. etc.
The food is certainly not the same as at home, but there is plenty to choose from. In my opinion, if you want variety in food and special goodies, then you do not need to go to an all-inclusive hotel. Restaurant - and go ahead to read the menu and choose something special and exclusive.
You can talk about the territory of the hotel for a long time, but it's better to see once. A LOT of greenery, which, in my opinion, is a rarity for Egypt. Rivers, bridges, flowers… look very romantic both day and night.
I did not like the attitude of the Arabs. Although everyone is smiling, no one is rude, they constantly say hello and ask how things are going. We did not know where to go from vulgar harassment. Everyone pestered, from waiters at the hotel, ending with guides on excursions. As if women have not been seen since birth. We talked with tourists, those ladies who came with men did not complain, everything was quite decorous and decent.
There were few cons and one could simply forget about them while being in the sun, on excursions, looking at unusual fish!
The sea is excellent, we did not see a single sea urchin! I read in the reviews that there is a strong current and like, if you are not a swimmer, you don’t need to go. I am a fairly average swimmer, but I felt comfortable, I didn’t notice any strong current. True, there were always waves during the day, and in the evening the sea is very calm.
I almost forgot, because the hotel is close to the airport, in the morning and in the evening you can watch and hear the planes very well. But for those who have everything in order with the nerves, this does not interfere.

A month has not yet passed, but I am already again choosing a hotel in Egypt, I want to celebrate the New Year in the warmth! This time I want to go to Hurghada and already with my boyfriend : -)
