We rested in this hotel together: me and my husband (25-26 years old), for us this is the second trip to Egypt. The tour operator was Tez-tour again. They work well, no complaints about them.
We bought Egyptian pounds in our hometown, oddly enough, but the exchange rate in our homeland was pleasantly different from the Egyptian one. Such is the trifle.
So, about the features of the hotel. The contingent was mainly from Western Europe: the British, Italians, Germans, French, there were Egyptians, well, where would we be without our post-Soviet compatriots. Naturally, the hotel staff communicates well in both English and Russian, and possibly other languages. Free Wi-Fi is available in the lobby, there is even a PC on which you can work.

We had a standard room on the first floor: two beds, TV, air conditioning, safe, shower, toilet and bidet 2 in 1. The main disadvantages are a broken TV plug and ants scurrying around the toilet at night. The plug was never subdued to us, so they used a cord from a personal cell.
And the ants quickly got used to it. They cleaned our house with high quality, sometimes the cleaner would excel at a bouquet of flowers and figurines from blankets.
The mini-bar in the rooms is paid, but bottled water in unlimited quantities can be taken at any bar or buffet in the hotel. Ice cream is available at the bar by the main pool in the afternoon. It should be given only to children, but this rule is not strict.
The hotel grounds are stunningly beautiful and cozy. Huge date and fan palms, oleanders, Chinese acacia, cacti of impressive size, an artificial stream with musical bridges across it - all this creates the impression that you are not in Egypt, but somewhere on exotic islands. Plus, the cases are made in European style.
About food. Breakfast - 6:00-10:00, lunch - 12:30-15:00, dinner - 18:30-22:00. It is almost impossible to have a normal snack between meals. The dishes in the main restaurant were enough, but they did not differ in particular variety.
Diet food, such as stewed vegetables, was sometimes too salty for my taste. The pastry was not always fresh, but if we got it fresh, then we just licked our fingers after it - very tasty. There is also a note to the sweet table: cakes and pastries were sprinkled with sugar, which unpleasantly creaked on the teeth. But there were delicious creamy mousses. But my main complaint is the meager selection of fruits: apples, pears, melons, oranges, bananas, dried dates - no more than three types of fruit in one day, grapefruits in the morning and once guava (guava). I collected figs and grapes from sweet table decorations. But as a plus, every day the restaurant had themed menus, such as Italian, barbecue, I was very impressed with the day of Arabic cuisine, especially sweets.
Also, for 12 euros per day per person, you can buy ultra all inclusive for 3 days (total 36 euros per person) and eat for free in all a la carte restaurants. Europeans usually have lunch and dinner there.

The only thing is that shrimp and lobster are paid separately, but you should be warned about this. The dishes in all restaurants are very tasty and, most importantly, freshly prepared. Loved the fish restaurant. But the sweet, which is served only in Arabic, disappointed. One of the dishes there was white bread soaked in sweet water and whipped protein. Another note - the portions in a la carte are really large. And make sure the check count is zero. If you decide to buy yourself an ultra all inclusive, then you can do it from 10:00 to 11:30 in front of the reception in the main building near the aunt with a mole on her forehead.
You can order a romantic candlelit dinner on the pontoon. As we understand, it is served by its a la carte fish restaurant.
About the sea. Access to the reef is only through the pontoon, if you wander from the shore, then the rescuers will whistle you and will not let you go into the depths. The reef is rich in both corals and different types of fish.
The only negative is that it goes into the depths almost like a sheer wall, so you won’t be able to swim above the corals, only along. I saw lionfish a couple of times, but amphiprions are not there yet. If you swim to a depth during a storm, it can be very blown to the side. But if you swim along the reef, the current is not felt. A couple of days in the first half because of the storm, the pontoon was closed. But after dinner the sea always calmed down. Near the coast on good days, the maximum depth is on the ass, and it is inconvenient to enter without slippers. This year, the siphonophores again stung me a little, but the vinegar helped a little. There were always free sun loungers both on the beach and near the pools.
A few words about the jacuzzi. Firstly, it works for about 30 minutes at the beginning of the hour, and secondly, the water in the pool is relatively cool, +27C. Refreshing in general.

We were dissatisfied with the work of the animators.
Sometimes it was a bummer for them to gather people for volleyball, they had a “kaput” ball for water polo, we didn’t dance belly dances every day either. But every day you can count on morning exercises and aqua aerobics. Evening shows are generally watchable.

The representative of the Tez-tour talked us into a trip to the Ras Mohammed reserve. And we were disappointed in the excursion: there are more swimming tourists in the reserve than the fish themselves, the species diversity of which does not exceed that of the representatives of the hotel reef; the mangrove is similar to the willow grove; the lake of desires is just a pretty bay. In short, the toad presses me a little for the spent 90 ye. I do not advise. And they will also sell you a mask and fins for rent in a "cheap" store and bring you to a supermarket with fixed, but 4 times inflated prices. By the way, opposite the hotel there are a number of shops and shops where you can buy the same wonderful Egyptian-Chinese souvenirs, teas, arafatki, etc.
Thus, if you want to relax in a hotel with a beautiful green area and swim over a beautiful reef, welcome to the Radisson Blu Resort.
