I just returned from my first trip to Egypt, I chose a hotel for a long time, I decided to stay at the Parrotel Beach Resort (ex. Radisson Blu Resort) 5 *. I will say right away that I have experience in tourism, I have seen enough of everything.

So about the hotel.

Our flight was delayed, arrived somewhere around 20:00 local time, had time for dinner. Settled quickly, without surcharges (no one hinted at anything and demanded nothing). At the reception they immediately showed a map of the hotel, then once again the porter in the room itself once again told and showed everything. The room is large and bright. Cleaning every day, replenishment of drinking water (based on a bottle of 1.5 liters per person per day, but in fact we had whole "batteries" lined up every day). The beds are wide. Stocks of soap-shampoo-shower gel are regularly replenished. There was no lack of these things. The room has a safe, a refrigerator, a kettle, cups for hot drinks, glasses for water, etc. Tea/coffee/sugar/cream are added regularly. WiFi works well in the room.
From the shore - not always.

The territory of the hotel is large (rather even elongated to the shore). Lots of greenery (watering every evening), flowers.

On the beach there was enough space for everyone both in the shade and in the sun. Beach equipment in good condition. The coast is being removed. It is better to enter the sea from the shore in shoes. During my stay at the hotel during the day there were ebb and flow, and complete calm, and waves. The sea is constantly changing. But, if a red flag hung in the morning, then usually from lunch to the end of the day it was possible to swim without problems. Enjoyed the live reef. There were a lot of different fish. I booked an excursion to the reserve with diving, but in fact what I saw there was not much different from the atmosphere of the marine life in the hotel. A variety of corals, many types of fish ...the feeling is just class!!!!

The restaurant has a variety of food.
Many options for snacks, salads, green vegetables, fruits, sweets, meat (usually chicken and beef in different versions), fish, potatoes, rice, boiled vegetables, pasta (several types), pizza, egg dishes to choose from. If a dish ends, either the next portion is added, or a new one is taken out. Additional bars are scattered throughout the hotel, where you can also have something to eat.

To sum it up, I liked the hotel in general. The staff is friendly. If there is a problem, help solve it. Good rooms and service. The food is good. Death from thirst or hunger does not threaten anyone. There is live music in the evenings.

Of the minuses - a little worn-out furniture and plumbing stands out against the background of the general impression. But this is if you quibble.

I gave it 10/10 to raise the rating a bit.

P. S. I would like to point out the following.

The presence of a red flag that does not allow tourists to enter the sea from a pontoon is not a whim of the hotel workers, but depends on the sea and the season. In addition, there are containers for garbage all over the beach at a distance of 2-5 m, so there is no need to scatter it around your sun lounger to complain about "dirt".
