We chose the Rivoli Ramblas hotel to explore Barcelona. Hotel website: www. hotelrivoliramblas. com Stayed there for 3 nights.
We booked on our own through IGlobe. ru, it came out 99 euros for breakfast for DBL / day. As for IGlobe, I’ll say that the guys are very mediocre resellers who do not fully know the information about the hotel - when selling in conditions, check-in was listed at 13-00, but in reality it turned out that they were staying at 15-30. We left the hotel on the coast in order to check into the Rivoli Ramblas at 13:00.
The room was not ready, had to wait, the plans for the day were frustrated. A call to Moscow did not solve anything, IGlobe just shrugged their shoulders: “We don’t know anything, we only sell. ”
The hotel itself made only positive impressions.
The management is excellent, the staff does an excellent job - at breakfast, coffee served in a coffee pot appears on the table literally 2-3 minutes after you have taken a table.
ACCOMMODATION:
The hotel is located right on the Ramla boulevard, about 140-160 meters from Plaza Catalunya. Most attractions are within walking distance. We got a room with an area of about 24-26 meters overlooking the courtyard. There is a parquet board on the floor. Nice solid wood furniture. LCD TV set 26 inches without a single channel in Russian. It should be noted a fairly wide range of mini-bars. Safe rental is paid - 2 euros / day.
The bathroom has an acrylic bathtub, hair dryer, telephone, toilet + bidet. Pleased with a set of toiletries - shower gel, shampoo, soap, shower cap, sponge for the body and a harder sponge for the feet.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, the code can be obtained at the reception.
BREAKFAST:
Very dense.
Only one omelette daily 3 types - regular, with mushrooms, with potatoes, with ham.
Plus fried bacon, ham, sausages, eggs. Coffee is served in a ceramic coffee pot complete with warmed milk. Dishes for the hotel are made to order at some German factory.
There are plenty of fruits for breakfast - melon, watermelon, peaches, bananas, kiwi, pineapples, apples, and watermelon, melon and pineapple are peeled!
Juices - as many as three types, one of them is orange - freshly squeezed.
From cold cuts - 7 types of meat cuts, including jamon, 5 types of cheese and lightly salted salmon slices.
Well, standard muesli, yogurt, pastries. The pastries are very tasty.
SERVICE:
Fast and discreet for guests. In the corridors you will not see a maid with a cart and a vacuum cleaner - the vacuum cleaner is built-in in the room.
Change of linen/towels daily. No complaints about cleaning.
