MERCADO CENTRAL
area

Valencia met me with a southern hot dream and a lack of passport control. I instead I saw my sister, who came to meet me from Hawaius. The emotions of joy were mixed with fatigue after almost a two -day road to Spain. Valencia Airport did not impress me, looked a little tired. It was a pleasant bonus to get to the city center quickly enough on the subway directly from the airport, but to buy a travel card in the machine, and it was not so easy to pay the fare. Fifteen minutes and we are already in the city center, looking at Google Card, how best to get to the Mercado Central (central market).

The fact that we, being limited in time before the bus flight to Hawai, were forced to reduce their desires to study the city to a minimum, and the central market of Valencia is the must visit for every tourist who found itself. It is a very colorful place from the outside and from the inside, where you can enjoy the atmosphere of true Spain, to taste Spanish specialists, and of course to buy something home. By the way, my first acquaintance with Paelle and Sangria happened. I liked Paelia very much, in addition to rice, it usually includes beans, meat and string beans, but the taste of the dish is determined by spices from which saffron and turmeric dominate. He had lunch well and purchased Aragon olives, had to hurry to the bus station and go further to Havia.

I remember that I will have another half day in Valencia on the day of my return to Poland, I did not very much sad that my first acquaintance with this very nice place was so short -term.

Yes it happened, on the way back home I have already seen and visited Valencia much more. Having made a route from the bus station to the historic center, the first in the list of attractions were the quarters, which exist with 15 VEKU, and was an important component in the protection of Valencia from external enemies. They can now see traces of nuclei in the precipitate of the city of Napoleonovsky army.

Walking out of the streets of Old Valencia, I again went to the Mercado Central area, where I was waiting for new historical monuments, such as St. John's Church, and the Silk Exchange building. Unfortunately, these monuments had to get acquainted only outside. What I liked by walking the streets of Valencia is the absence of a crowd of tourists. Tourists of course are, but there is no crowd. The next place of visit was the Cathedral, and the square near it. It is a significant place in Valencia, both from a historical and cult point of view. It is interesting to admire the architecture and decoration of the cathedral, it is important for a believer to know that it is important to know that the Cathedral is a sacred graal, in which, according to legend, Jesus' blood was collected. When you are near such places, your heart is filled with special emotions.

We must admit that in the central part of Valencia it is a pleasure to walk not only near the attractions, but also with ordinary streets where each house looks interesting and pompous. However, Valencia is very large to try to bypass it. Therefore, using Google cards once again, I created a route in the area of "City of Science and Arts", and this place can be safely considered a business card of the city. By the way, transport in Valencia, both buses and subway, made a positive impression on me. The stops are equipped with information digital boards, which indicate routes and information how much to wait for the next bus or subway.

City of Arts and Sciences (Ciudad De Las Y Las Ciencias) is a unique architectural and cultural complex in Valencia. It is one of the main monuments of the city and a symbol of contemporary art, science and technology. The city of arts and sciences consists of five impressive buildings, each of which has its own unique purpose and a botanical gallery. Here is also the Palace of Arts with the Opera House, and the Museum of Science and the largest oceanarium in Europe. The complex was designed by the famous Spanish architect Santiago Kaatrova together with engineer Felix Kandela.

Once in such a place, a wow-effect immediately arises, the feeling of something unrealistic, and the mind is filled with pride for involvement in such masterpieces of the human mind and hands. There is a lot of information in the Internet, photos and views about this place, so interested can find out more.

The city of arts and science is located in the southern part of the park area called Turia. It is a place for the former river with the same name, which is now dried and transformed into a park area with a length of nine kilometers, which hits the entire Valencia with a horseshoe. It is a unique man -made work of park art, which combines everything, landscape design, unique plants, and routes for walks and rolling, and lawn for recreation, and numerous entertainment and attractions. For those who rest in Valencia with children, this is a place, and in general the whole city is unique.

After getting the alameda metro station in the same Turia, I realized that everything is going to end and I need to go to the airport.

Summarizing my story about Valencia, I am very sorry that I had to touch only the tenth, and can only be the twentieth part of all her charms. And this was not yet said that it is located on the Mediterranean, and in this beautiful city it is possible to successfully combine a rich cultural holiday with the beach. Adió s Valencia. To new meetings.

P. S. At Valencia Airport, after the customs control, I had to buy a bottle of water on the road.

Looking with the seller, he heard my English, and began to ask where I came from, transfer different countries. On the word Ukraine I stopped it. Then he heard: "Glory to Ukraine" unexpectedly. With the answer, I did not get bad and felt pride in my country, which was known and respected.
