The hotel is very good, excellent food (we had breakfast dinner), nice staff, they cleaned the room every day, changed towels. The location is in my opinion one of the best in Salou, close to all the beaches, in the center of the nightlife. Of the shortcomings - old furniture (wardrobes), but excellent mattresses. This did not bother us, because for a week things were not even unpacked from the suitcases. Perhaps someone will interfere with the animation, if you are lucky with a room overlooking the pool. We just liked it - from the window we could evaluate the program of the evening, look at the frolicking children, gawk at the neighbors from other balconies : )
If we talk about Salou itself, then at first the town seemed boring. But when we appreciated the number of possible excursions and excellent transport interchange, the place seemed ideal for traveling around southern Spain. For a week we managed to see Girona, Terragona, Reus, Figueres and go to PortAventura (the largest amusement park in Europe in 15 minutes). The best cafe on the central beach is Cafe de Mar, a nightclub is Tropical. Good but not enough! You need to go at least 10 days.
