It used to be poured just to wait in line, mojito without mint...It is almost impossible to find a place near any swimming pool, Europeans take it in the morning and go to the sea or anywhere (the concept of the hotel is that towels are not cleaned, which is very inconvenient, half of the sunbeds are not taken people, but only towels). I have never met such a shortage of beds near the pool. It was a very unpleasant situation, typical of hotels with a low level of service. where at that time there were renovation works (it was very noisy) with a very old room stock, and for an extra payment of 15 euros a day, a better room was offered put in exactly such a room that they sell, after that they placed in a room with normal repair.
Among the minuses, there were no slippers or carpets in the rooms, as in other hotels, which was very inconvenient, sand was everywhere. Aftertaste from the hotel: the sea is unsurpassed, it is better to go in spring or autumn, when there is no heat, it is quite far to walk to the sea, but not critical. The hotel is trying, but it does not match the Jaz, SUNRISE, Albatros chains in terms of service. Would I go to this hotel again - probably yes, there are few such seas in Egypt where you can find them. If the hotel removes those minor, but very inconvenient, shortcomings for a vacation, I would go to them, especially since Albatros has a concept that you cannot reserve a place with towels, which Hilton would not do the same if it is impossible to satisfy everyone with places.
Many Ukrainians are now worried about the question of whether there are Russians in the hotel (whose behavior can spoil the vacation) - the hotel is 90% European, mostly Poles and Germans, there were only a few Russians, 5-6 families, of which we met only one inadequate one, who wanted to insult us and show their stupidity.
For the hotel itself:
- the territory is beautiful, green, despite the large area, everything is compactly located, from any building close to the restaurant and the pools. The interior of the hotel is in Nubian style. On the territory, in addition to the spa and the gym, there are playgrounds for playing nast. tennis, in the hall where children's animation is held, there is a billiard table, albeit a clumsy one;
- room, we got 1723, spacious, comfortable, with a beautiful view and a huge terrace. Here I would like to dwell on the little things, because. they decide a lot. The room is very good, bright lighting, a lot of lamps, fixtures and lights (this is important for me). The bathroom (we had a bath) has good quality cosmetics, a bidet, complicated but convenient adjustment of the shower and water temperature, special equipment. niches in the wall for toiletries, a very comfortable curtain for the bathroom, snow-white and fragrant towels. The room also has a large plasma screen, a table for working with a computer, a kettle with a set of coffee-sugar-tea, an iron and ironing board, floor scales and even!! ! fumigator with spare plates;
- the Internet is quite tolerable, we caught it even in the room, there was enough on the social network;
- cleaning was carried out daily and with high quality, honestly... I have never seen such a clean floor in any hotel;
- the restaurant, it's great here, the waiters work quickly, the tables are disinfected after each, they put clean napkins, drinks are offered (you don't have to wait long). Cutlery is served sealed in sachets, glasses and goblets are glass, if take-out is paper. The food itself is good, there is enough of everything, queues, if they arise, move quickly, because. people serve their own food. The only caveat is that for me everything was spicy and a lot of seasonings, there is, of course, a dietary menu, but otherwise everything is specific. taste. Good coffee in the restaurant and lobby, packaged juices, but they are reluctantly poured, freshly squeezed fresh juices - for a fee;
- the service is good, unobtrusive, the staff communicates mainly in English, German, so that compatriots learn languages;
However, there was an unpleasant nuance in the heated pool, the bartender (I don’t remember the name) behaved in a boorish way with us and Ukrainians in general, pretended not to understand us, the girl refused to make a cocktail with juice. We don’t drink alcohol, and when we ordered coffee for him, he made a face with the words “Ukraine... know money”, I wanted to bring him these money and put it in his mouth (((
- the beach, they knew where they were going, so the remoteness of the sea did not bother us, they settled down on sun loungers in the "solarium" and walked slowly to the entrance to the water. The sea is worth it - it's gorgeous, and the reef, and turtles and white sand, especially good for children.
Now not about the hotel. If you are going to go to Marsa Alam, take a direct flight, we flew through Hurghada, this is torture, the road is exhausting. At the airport, the entire crowd of tourists passes by the bank with visas and, like "zombies", they go to the counters of tour operators, where they issue migration cards and sell visas for 27-28 dollars. As we wrote earlier, take medicines and everything you need with you, there is no infrastructure behind the hotel. Mango bought at the hotel (when available) in a restaurant for 4 bucks and on the beach for 5 per kg. The guide from Joyne up, who seems to be a good dude, made a discount on the tour, but I had to run after him to find out the time of the return flight (((, after you bought the tour from him, you are no longer interested in him! Since everyone recommends watching the turtles at 6 am, you can only get there on foot, as the hotel's 15-seat tram starts at 8:10. it makes 3-4 revolutions per hour and only 500 meters from the distance from the hotel building to the place of entry into the water of 1.2 km. Turtles are certainly huge, but in 10 days of stay, we met only three. The rest of the time they were content with fish from the back of the coral reef. But there are many times less of them than in many places of the Red Sea.
The second huge minus of the hotel of the 21st century is the Internet at a speed of less than 1 Mbps, or its complete absence. For example, when we found out that there would be nowhere to eat at the new Hurghada airport on the way back and we urgently needed to order food for the Rossiya airline flight, we spent more than an hour on this, although in Moscow such an operation takes no more than 3 minutes . I'm not talking about the connection with relatives and friends who are interested in how we are doing.
Therefore, those who do not care about these issues have 4 swimming pools and high-level service at their disposal. All staff are friendly. Nobody is squeezing extra money. A lot of entertainment. Diverse food. Every evening there is an additional thematic menu, a concert program. Of course, for such prices, fresh juices are only for money (4 euros a glass). Mango 4 euro/pc. (it's mango season). Since the hotel is located in the desert (250 km from Hurghada airport) and there is nowhere to go to buy something, the shops at the hotel help out. Not only are the prices reasonable and almost everyone speaks Russian, but they can also bring you the right product to order (and again at reasonable prices).
My wife and I have been to many countries of the world (about 30 countries, only in Egypt 3 times). Therefore, in all situations, we try not to be upset by various unforeseen circumstances and enjoy the gift of life, the opportunity to spend time with pleasure. Therefore, this trip was generally positive for us. Thanks to all the staff of the hotel for a wonderful holiday. They tried their best. The hotel is good, some buildings can be seen only updated. There are several pools. The rooms are large with a spacious terrace. Everything you need is in the room, you can ask for slippers and a bathrobe. Cleaned regularly, well, towels are large, snow-white. Check-in is standard, you can additionally pay for early check-in and late check-out. There are several shops, of course overpriced and a company that offers boat trips and diving. The territory is not very green, but quite large and well-groomed. To the beach you need to walk a little along the alley.
In the end, they did not regret their choice. We want to return next year and most likely to this hotel, because it fully meets our requirements. Hopefully next year it will only get better.
From the hotel to the beach about 5 minutes "walking" step through a tunnel of planted bushes (+ the road from the room to the exit from the hotel - depends on the location of the building), but you can not swim on the hotel's home beach because of the reef, you need to walk another 3-5 minutes to the neighboring city beach (umbrellas, sun loungers, mattresses for free). The beach is clean, wide, the entry into the water is gentle, going into the water you can immediately admire the reef and its inhabitants. The reef is simply unrealistically beautiful! Bright corals, all kinds of fish, octopus, turtles, stingrays can be admired for hours.
The hotel area is large, well-groomed, lawns, palm trees, and flowering bushes are everywhere, there is even a fountain at the entrance to the hotel, 4 pools, three of which have a bar and you can drink a cocktail or enjoy ice cream without leaving the water. For fans there is animation.
The food is very varied, there is a vegetarian menu, meat, fish, poultry, pasta, all kinds of sweets and much more, no one will remain hungry)).
The room was standard - spacious with a small terrace, tiled floors. Bathroom (bath, washbasin, bidet), there is a magnifying mirror. Everything you need is available - air conditioning, refrigerator (replenished daily with water), safe (free of charge), iron with ironing board, kettle, cups, mini-set of packaged tea and coffee, hairdryer, good mattresses, plasma, spacious wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables .
Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel, but it did not work well in the room, it was really possible to fully use it only at the reception.

Nubian-style standard room - cozy and spacious, with a terrace, the room has everything - air conditioning, telephone, alarm clock, kettle with coffee and tea set, refrigerator, safe and even an iron with an ironing board and a fumigator with plates (but there were no mosquitoes) . The bathroom (bath, washbasin, trouble) is spacious with all accessories.
The hotel area is huge but well maintained - clean, green, lots of plants and flowers. 4 Pools, three have a bar. The food is royal, with all the desire, you won’t be able to eat a little)), a huge selection of everything, dishes change, clean and good service. The staff here are friendly, polite, they do everything possible to make guests feel comfortable. The animation is working, the guys are trying. Events every evening (fire show, dancing, magic show, etc. ). There were no downsides for me. But for those who prefer not to walk, but right from the room to be in the sea, the hotel is not very suitable)).
