The food is delicious, especially the paella. Not far from the sea, but you need to go first uphill, and then from it. Therefore, at rush hour, going to the beach became like climbing Everest, only on asphalt. There are more than enough restaurants and entertainment venues. If you want to relax in all-consuming silence, then the hotel is not very suitable.

Rested family a wonderful hotel, good service, food deserves all praise. The staff is friendly, we plan to go there again. I really liked the presence of Russian-speaking staff at the reception. It's a pity we live far away - Siberia Zelenogorsk

Hotel. We really liked it! It is a 7-storey white building, the first floor is a hall, considered zero, generally pretty, with blue balconies. Hotel.
We really liked it! It is a 7-storey white building, the first floor is a hall, considered zero, generally pretty, with blue balconies. In front of the hotel there are greenery, palm trees, pine trees, across the road there is a hotel in the same style - Marinada Apartment, a boarding house without meals. Located in a quiet place, 3 minutes from the main street with shops, cafes, souvenir shops. The hotel area is small, the same as all the hotels in Salou. Here you are not Turkey or Egypt, you should not even compare, but the quality is better. In fact, I would give the hotel a 4*.
On the first (zero) floor there is a reception, the girls speak a little English, one in Russian. The girls are friendly and always go out of their way. We were often late in ordering picnics, which must be ordered before 19.00 on the eve of excursions. Picnics are given out in special boxes, very good - 2 delicious sandwiches with cheese and ham, yogurt, water 0.
33l, apple, chips, a couple of bagels. You need to pick it up at the restaurant from the administrator during breakfast - if you take a lunch ration, during lunch - if you have a dinner ration. In general, picnics are not given in all hotels.
On the left side there is a hall for animations, through it there is an exit to the pool. The indoor pool is located downstairs on the ground floor, accessed by stairs to the left of the entrance. On the right side there is a staircase to the first floor to the restaurant, behind it is an elevator. The elevator is cool, semicircular with a glass wall, street view, there are palm trees, beautiful! Next is a seating area with sofas and a large TV. There are also a couple of computers with Internet access, Wi-Fi catches only on this floor.
On foot from the hotel you can get to the railway station - 30 minutes, to Port Aventura - 40 minutes. To the nearest beach - 8-10 minutes.
Interesting animations are held in the evenings. The schedule hangs near the reception.
Another hour from 9 to 11-12 pm live music is played in the hotel opposite, quite loud, so if you get a room with a view on the street, please note. Although before 12 no one here probably goes to bed. Sometimes hotel animations were held not in the lobby, but on the site near the pool. Then you won’t fall asleep from this side with an open balcony, after 12 everything subsides.
By the way, the hotels do not have security at the entrance. Anyone can come in, visit the animation, have lunch in the afternoon. Lunch costs 10 euros, buffet. The hotel staff is generally friendly, the attitude towards Russians is good.
Number.
We were settled on the 4th floor, room 412. Our room is the third one down the corridor to the right of the elevator. Come in and be amazed! The room is very cute! Small, neat, clean, furniture in good condition, almost new. 2 single beds, a table with a small TV, a remote control in place (in Europe, the remote control often has to be taken on bail).
There is a mirror on the wall, 2 armchairs, a table for bags with a shelf for shoes, a built-in wardrobe, and a small safe on the bottom shelf. The safe is paid - 4 euros per day, we safely managed without it. Bathroom is great! It has a bathroom with a curtain and a non-removable shower, a sink, of course, a hairdryer hangs nearby (not all hotels have one), a shelf and an outlet, a toilet bowl and a bidet in the recess. All plumbing is excellent, Roca. In general, everything in a marine style is white with blue waves. 2 white towels per person, one on the floor in front of the bathroom. The balcony is wide, in the corner there is a plastic white round table with two chairs.
The view of the hotel grounds with the pool, the only truth was not very good - it was a residential building opposite, which ended just in front of our balcony and was quite close. So the more distant numbers along the corridor were more fortunate, probably from the numbers of commercials 420s.
And it's better not to take rooms for 10: a neighbor from the 410th room, having directly ruined the elevator, complained about the noise, constant walking.
Central air conditioning, we did not use it, we slept with an open balcony. And June is not so hot. And there is no fridge.
Cleaned every day from about 10 am to 12 am. The maids are polite. Linen was changed every 3-4 days, towels more often.
Nutrition.
Excellent! We had full board buffet. During breakfast, they managed to eat so much that lunch was not needed!
Upon entering the restaurant, the administrator greets everyone. The waitresses are polite, friendly, one speaks Russian. Tables are served for lunch and dinner. Service is unobtrusive.
Breakfasts are standard - sliced cheeses and sausages, beans in sauce, scrambled eggs, several types of sausages, cereals with milk, you can make toasts, buns, jams and, most importantly, drinks - juices, teas, coffee, cocoa. During lunch and dinner, drinks are paid, we did without them.
Lunches - cuts of vegetables, salads, c. with seafood, a variety of hot dishes - pork, turkey, beef, chicken, fish, casseroles, pizza, french fries and other side dishes. Sometimes national dishes - paella, gazpacho.
Dinners are almost like lunch, once every 2-3 days they are themed - various national cuisines - Italian, Mexican, Spanish, etc. On Sundays, seafood - tiger prawns, mussels, octopuses, something else, I don’t know the names, definitely paella. Overeat!
Fruits - every day pineapples, watermelons, melons, + on different days plums, oranges, tangerines, peaches, nectarines, kiwi, strawberries. In addition, various desserts, yoghurts and ice cream. Everything is very tasty cooked.
For a change, you can visit local restaurants. A large pizza for two plus 2 cola costs 8 euros.
Sea.
In June, apparently not yet the season, the sea was wavy, but warm, swimming and sunbathing.
Cloudy weather, as ordered, fell on the days of excursions, the rest of the time it was hot.
The beaches in Spain are municipal, free. Sunbeds, umbrellas are paid - 7-10 euros per day. It is better to buy a mat for 2-3 euros in the city. To the people - especially on the main beach of Plata Levant - there is nowhere for an apple to fall.
There are 3 beaches near the hotel. The closest - Plata del Capellans is located 8-10 minutes from the hotel directly. You need to go like this: from the hotel to the right to the main street, we cross it and then straight uphill (not literally uphill, just a street at an angle a little up), as we climbed - we immediately see the sea and go down to it along the road. The bay is small and beautiful.
The largest beach is Plata Levant to the right of the hotel (walk along the main street), stretches along the entire promenade to the port. It takes a maximum of 15 minutes to walk to it, of course, if you do not go into souvenir shops on the main street.
The third beach to the left of the hotel Plata Larga - we liked the most.
We go straight as to the nearest beach, but on the mountain, when we already see the sea, turn left and go for another 5 minutes. In general, go for 12-15 minutes. There are not very many people, the sand is soft, and the place is beautiful.

Hey! We rested in this hotel in early October 2007. The weather was good, it rained for a couple of days, but the rest - 24-26 degrees. The sea was a bit cool (the Spaniards, of course, don’t swim at this time, but the Russians, the Germans - quite : ), but you quickly get used to it and after you get your feet wet you already go in calmly : ).

From the hotel you can walk to 2 beaches within a 10-minute leisurely walk. One is quite crowded - a promenade with palm trees, benches, etc. , in general, a fairly passable place, people come there and just take a walk (I mean not only sunbathing and swimming). On the second, there are just not very many people and it is located in a quieter place (you can see it on the pictures). And here and there you can rent sun loungers (I don’t remember the cost). The sea is beautiful! Such a turquoise shade in the sun - class! ) is beautiful. And besides, there are no living creatures such as jellyfish and algae. Depth is not immediately, you have to go a little deeper. Everywhere sandy beach.
As for the hotel itself, I can say that I am satisfied with absolutely everything! Very positive emotions and memories. I especially want to emphasize the quality of the food! For me, this is a rather important point, since not everyone can and love to eat, but there has always been a choice even for such picky people like me.
Breakfast is always scrambled eggs, sausages, muesli (as well as various nuts) with milk, fruits (grapes, plums, oranges, pineapples ... ), yogurts, also very tasty pastries and a variety of drinks (tea, green tea, unnatural juice), coffee, coffee with milk, Nesquik, cocoa, just milk) ...You could make hot toast with jam, honey, butter. In general, the breakfasts are very tasty.
Lunches and dinners are also very decent, I repeat that there is always plenty to choose from. Several types of hot dishes: fish, beef, pork. Several times we cooked pilaf with seafood (mussels, shrimp + meat). For lunch there was always some kind of soup.
Several types of side dishes, they always changed, it could be potatoes (in any form: french fries, just pieces, fried), spaghetti, stewed beans, rice, any vegetable stews ...I don’t remember everything. For dinner (or lunch . . I don’t remember exactly . . most likely for dinner) there was always at least one independent purely vegetarian dish. Plus several types of salads, as well as simply slicing tomatoes, cucumbers, various pickles, olives, olives, etc. The most important thing is that everything is very tasty and of high quality! There were no problems with the lack of food either, we came several times at the very end and there was always plenty of everything. In addition, for dinner, as well as for breakfast, fruit was offered (every day: grapes, oranges, watermelons ...+ occasionally melon, plums)! And also for dinner, a separate dessert table was organized, where there were a lot of, well, very tasty desserts and pastries ! ! : )) Only I must warn you that for lunch and dinner drinks are offered only for extra.
fee. For example, 1 bottle of mineral water (carbonated or not, it doesn't matter) cost 1 or 1.5 euros. There were also spirits (other than champagne, if anyone likes).
The service at the hotel is also good. At the reception there is one girl (Spanish, by the way), who speaks Russian. It works daily, but at certain hours, it is better to find out it is already there. Cleaning quality. Each room has air conditioning. Linens and towels are all clean. True, there were sometimes slightly tattered towels, but given that they were clean, we didn’t care. All rooms seem to have their own balcony. On the territory there is a swimming pool (not heated). The hotel has a jacuzzi and a sauna. There are billiard tables. Internet access (computers on the 1st floor; paid service). Safe in the room, the key to it is provided for a fee.
The animation is mediocre, but you can’t say that you can die of boredom there.
Animators are activated somewhere after 7 o'clock, when they started various shows: either karaoke, or some performances. BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT thing is the nightly performances at the aparthotel Marinada (right across the street from the Marinada hotel) - just super!! ! no words! At 9 or 10 o'clock (sorry, I don't remember exactly already .. ) artists came there and sang very cool in Spanish and English. Often something fun, sometimes classic romantic, something like "only you... " for fans of early sleep - vryat whether it will be possible to fall asleep before 11-12 o'clock.
As for the guests of the hotel, they are mostly Spaniards, as it seemed to me at that time about 50% of them were elderly ...there are very few Russians, I met only one couple. There are also French and British (already a younger contingent : ) )
For excursions - I highly advise you to go to Port Aventura !!!
Just cool! so many attractions : ) And from the Costa Dorada it can go there for 15-20 minutes by bus. Then the ticket cost 20 euros. I was also on Mount Montserrat in the monastery, it’s also great (I posted a few photos) awesome views! And of course in Barcelona! It is something! Insanely beautiful city! I advise you to take a sightseeing tour if possible. Especially with a visit to the magic fountain, very beautiful. Include it in the evening twice for 20 minutes each action. Really fascinates, to the music, multi-colored jets. super! On the tour they said that this is still the most powerful fountain in the world. I also liked the fishing village of Cambrils, such a small settlement, you can walk along the promenade + look at the Spanish architecture, there are such narrow streets. It's also a short 15 minute bus ride.
I think I've said enough already. I can safely recommend! I liked it there very much.
I wish you all a pleasant holiday!

We were in this hotel from 28.08. 07. for 12 days. The hotel is very good, cozy, the staff is wonderful, very friendly, the cuisine is excellent, those who love seafood will not regret it, there were a lot of shrimps, mussels, etc. , various meats, sausages....we really liked it, the sea is 15 minutes away walking, but it’s not tiring, because it’s nice to walk and look around along the road, and the beach is like in a bay, we were happy, claims to Natalie-tour, they cheat in a terrible way and make our Russian tourist not take tour tickets from someone or others besides them, and they are 3 times more expensive, and the service is average.

And about the hotel, keep it up !! ! Yes, there is audibility in the rooms, but those with a normal psyche do not interfere with this, and in general they go to Spain for sightseeing, and not for sleeping... .
