At the reception, we were offered to spend the night in another hotel. Moreover, the administrator girl pretended that she did not understand what we were indignant about, that she only spoke French, and indifferently filled out a card for our stay in another place, and invited us to come back the next day. We booked and paid for everything in this hotel. After a long discussion, we left. When they returned the next day, they found out that the girl at the reception was Russian and spoke Russian perfectly. Like this.

It is impossible to open the window: the noise is hellish outside the window. But there was no alternative. Opened. They died from stuffiness like in a sauna. They lay on wet sheets.
Safe - not working. Called a repairman - came. He tinkered, said: "Come back now" and disappeared. Waited an hour. We called the receptionist. They said something about tomorrow. Summary: neither tomorrow nor the day after tomorrow, nothing was fixed.
Fan is also available. As is the air conditioner. But - does not work. The minibar reminded us of the "Morozko" refrigerator of the 70s from someone's shabby dacha. And there was NOTHING in it!
It is better not to touch the furniture - the handles from the cabinets remain in the hands, then do not open the door.
The room itself - shabby, shabby, furniture - was once good. About 20 years ago.
We asked for glasses in the room - put toothbrushes. They solemnly carried out two DISPOSABLE PLASTIC CUPS. And it took a long time to figure out how many glasses we need. And so in everything. Poor breakfasts, orphan and dreary. No one was waiting for pickles, but already here... Believe me: Never wrote reviews. But here - just finished. We were looking forward to the day of departure. I just want to warn others - go to another hotel. Don't let yourself be fooled and ripped off. Don't lose money.

ONE EXCEPTION WE WERE BROUGHT TO THE ROOM FROM A TEA BAG FOR FIVE EUROS PER CUP. OUR NEIGHBORS LEFT A CREDIT CARD NUMBER, AND IT WAS IMMEDIATELY BLOCKED FOR THEM (GOLD). I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE HOTEL.

We walked slowly to the opera, where the excursions met, for about 10 minutes. The metro is 2 minutes walk, everything is very convenient to get to. We stayed at the Normandy Hotel for a week in August. It is located in the very center of Paris, literally across the Louvre. We walked slowly to the opera, where the excursions met, for about 10 minutes. The metro is 2 minutes walk, everything is very convenient to get to. In the center in the evening it is very quiet and safe, my sister and I calmly walked around the Louvre, in the Tuirli garden in the evening until 12 at night. Friends lived in Montmarte and said that it was not particularly safe for two girls to go out in the evening. We had a morning flight, so at 12 we were already standing at the reception, we were met by a very nice girl who spoke good Russian. We had a room on the 5th floor with a balcony. The rooms are not big but comfortable. The plumbing is good. Removed cleanly. The only negative is the old furniture, especially the beds and doors. When we stopped by, there were few people and we lived alone on the floor - it was paradise! but then on Friday a lot of tourists arrived and falling asleep at 10 pm was very problematic, through the doors you could hear who comes when, conversations, noise - so it was not pleasant enough. Breakfast - buffet, as in all European fours, a big plus - there were always fruits! other tourists stayed at the astra opera and said that they didn’t give fruits, instead they had compotes : (. I really liked the interior of the hotel, you really understand that you live in Paris, and around the 19th century....high ceilings, huge beautiful chandeliers, a piano in the hall, a twisted staircase (by the way, 2 elevators), all in carpets with a huge pile!!! romance.......... The staff is very friendly. There are many restaurants around the hotel for every taste, the only negative is that many close very early .
