The hotel has no territory, buildings between the roads and that’s it. The pool is small, if there are three people in the pool, then the fourth will be cramped. The pool was cleaned once a week. There are 10-12 sun loungers around the pool and there is no room for more. It's 7 minutes to the sea along a rocky road with a steep descent at the end where you can break your legs.

There is a minibus for 6 people, but it’s disgusting to get into it - dirty, smelly seats! The worst thing is the food! There are no cooks, the hotel provides catering. Accordingly, a place to eat cannot be called a restaurant - a smelly student canteen with squashed chairs and tables covered with oilcloth! The quality of the food is disgusting, of course you can only eat spaghetti with ketchup and you won’t go hungry, but this is the level of two stars! There is a meager amount of fruit: oranges and apples. Sometimes one type of cake and those are from the freezer. Cabbage, onions and cucumbers OR tomatoes, rarely cheese. There are chopped olives from a jar and there won’t be enough for everyone. There is not enough space in the dining room for everyone!

I had a standard double room with panoramic windows offering a wonderful view of the sea and mountains. It is not big, there is a TV, a refrigerator, a tea set, slippers, a bathroom, towels, a hairdryer, a safe, air conditioning, and a balcony with a clothes dryer. Wi-Fi signal is good and fast throughout the hotel.
The food is tasty but monotonous: chicken, fish, meat, meatballs, vegetables, fruits, sweets, cola, tea, cappuccino, tequila, gin, local vodka, wine, beer. No one will remain hungry.
There is no animation.
The beach is not far, 5-10 minutes leisurely. Those who find it difficult can use a free minibus that takes them to the beach. The sea is magnificent, the water is clean and transparent. The beach is sandy, the entrance to the sea is gentle, no coral is required, no sea urchins. The hotel has its own sun loungers and umbrellas. On the beach there are changing cabins, showers, and taps for washing your feet from sand. Beach towels are provided against a deposit of five euros.

First time in Crete. The choice in favor of this hotel was based on previous reviews and was not mistaken. Transfer in 2.5 hours did not tire at all. See the island in all its glory. 9) a minibus brings you to the beach, but we walked - we are outdoor enthusiasts;
10) You can rent a car on site. The car park itself is located in the same village;
11) all Greeks were very friendly and hospitable;
12) the hotel opened after renovation!

Hotel review. Were in August. The hotel was not yet ready for occupancy. The room is clean, our air conditioner worked, they hung curtains for several days, they gave us a hair dryer. Photos do not correspond to reality, everything is much more modest. From the negative - a long and uncomfortable transfer of 3 hours!!! About the good: the excellent hostess of the hotel Galina (she speaks Russian, which facilitates communication), tried to quickly resolve issues with shortcomings.

I also liked the cuisine, the food is simple but tasty. And of course the sea is great. Although the south of Crete is not particularly developed as a tourist region, and this is felt by the lack of infrastructure.
