I ran back to Dedalos demanding an explanation. To which the hostess replied that this was also her hotel, and we would live there! (later it turned out that the hostess rented unprofitable hotels and settled Russians there (according to Dedalos' vouchers), and the main buildings for the Germans). They put us in room 215 with a side sea view (no extra payments were made for this) on the second floor. The floors in the hotel are numbered starting from -1. Of the noted advantages of the room: a large spacious closet with hangers, a large bed with a very comfortable mattress, the presence of a bathroom, not a shower, a good dressing table, not air conditioning from which you constantly catch a cold, but climate control, where you set the desired temperature yourself (free of charge), the presence of a free refrigerator in the room (it was happiness, constantly cool water and drinks), a very, very spacious balcony. There is also a hairdryer in the room, you don’t need to take it with you. Take gels, shampoos with you. As for the TV: it is in the room. The remote from it costs 10 euros for the period of your stay. However, do not rush to buy it. On the third day after we bought it, we realized that if you switch channels longer with the button on the TV, then you can still find channels without a remote control : ))) it's just a matter of time). But the TV is essentially not needed there, since there are no Russian channels, only Greek, German and one music channel (similar to our mtv. We got there during the Olympic Games, so I wanted to somehow watch the competitions in the evenings.

Of the noted advantages of the room: a large spacious closet with hangers, a large bed with a very comfortable mattress, the presence of a bathroom, not a shower, a good dressing table, not air conditioning from which you constantly catch a cold, but climate control, where you set the desired temperature yourself (free of charge), the presence of a free refrigerator in the room (it was happiness, constantly cool water and drinks), a very, very spacious balcony. There is also a hairdryer in the room, you don’t need to take it with you. Take gels, shampoos with you. As for the TV: it is in the room. The remote from it costs 10 euros for the period of your stay. However, do not rush to buy it. On the third day after we bought it, we realized that if you switch channels longer with the button on the TV, then you can still find channels without a remote control : ))) it's just a matter of time). But the TV is essentially not needed there, since there are no Russian channels, only Greek, German and one music channel (similar to our mtv. We got there during the Olympic Games, so I wanted to somehow watch the competitions in the evenings.
Rooms are cleaned every day, towels and linen are changed every three days. Hearty breakfasts, good selection. For dinner, they feed for slaughter: several types of meat, various side dishes, fish, fruits, delicious sweets, both traditional (cakes, pastries) and national (baklava), always fresh vegetables, olives, butter, etc. I liked that breakfast and you could dine on the terrace by the sea, especially dinners, plague sunsets.
A 3-minute walk to the right of the hotel there is a shop (mini market) and a tavern where they speak Russian. A tavern with excellent cuisine. The location is not crowded, there are 2 shops nearby (very modest and expensive, duty free is much cheaper, airport 5). Entrance to the sea - large pebbles, a meter later - gorgeous sand, not deep, clean. Mosquitoes were very disturbing (those who travel with children - stock up on funds). Cafes on every corner - prices are much lower than in Rethymnon. There were no problems with hot water. The price and quality of the hotel, I think it corresponds. But shopping in the evenings was not enough.

We were 4 people. I arranged two rooms, on the 3rd floor, from the window you can see the sea a little. We got almost -1: next to the pool, we had to go down a couple of steps. The room seems to be nothing, but there is no balcony - there was only its outline, there was a table, you could have breakfast. In short - we were not satisfied. We were offered a different building to replace it. I had to go outside, walk past the neighboring five-star, and here he is. Old. But small. Stairs to the rooms along the street (there is an elevator). The room was not renovated family room. A large entrance hall with an ordinary household refrigerator, in one room there is a 2-bed, in the other 3 single beds, and one more closed door led to a room with a terrace on the sunny side. The view of the sea conquered us, and we agreed without hesitation. The shadow on the balcony was from morning to evening! Never had to turn on the air conditioner. We were going to the company only on our balcony))
Of the minuses, it turned out that warm water from solar panels ended quickly in the evening.
We never swam in the hotel pool - why, if there is a sea with good sand nearby! In addition, we took a car and visited more beaches on the south coast, and also stopped by some on our coast - we liked ours more))
They fed well.
Cleaning at friends was normal. In our building (budget apparently) they didn’t really try. But we were on such a positive note that everything suited us))
