The whole problem is that the rooms were designed / built by crooked builders - there is no ventilation system in the bathroom and the correct slope of the floor for water drainage - therefore it stinks from the wardrobe (nauseatingly moldy). At first we did not like it and even thought about resettlement, but then we found a big plus in this. You could always spread a blanket on the lawn and sunbathe or just watch a movie. The room has two beds, one of which is a bunk bed. The room itself is not small, the four of us are comfortable. The bathroom has a shower tray and curtain. Air conditioning, TV, refrigerator worked properly. I want to note that there are no special cards for electricity, you could leave the air conditioner and go to the beach so that the room was not hot.
Food. After checking in, we immediately went to dinner. Came at the end, so there's not much left. Chefs, waiters and bartenders are great. The restaurant has always been a pleasure to be in. There are tablecloths on the tables, the tables are cleaned after each guest, the dishes are clean, the bar is open all day. For breakfast, cereals, desserts, cereals; for lunch and dinner 2-3 side dishes, meat and fish dishes. I only wish there was more variety of vegetables and fruits, otherwise we never left hungry.
Hotel. We knew where we were going. The hotel area is small, one pool, around which 10-15 sun loungers. But I note that even in such a small area they pay attention to the lawn, trees and flowers. The overall impression is excellent. We expected less. The hotel is quiet and peaceful, the staff is polite and helpful. If they add fruit in the restaurant, and umbrellas by the pool, then there will be an ultimate dream. Have a good rest everyone.

There are 20 sun loungers in total, given that the hotel has 120 filled rooms, it is easy to calculate the chances of lying by the pool. Occupy sun loungers from the night. There are always waves at sea, because. the bay is large, and for 3 days there was a storm at all, you couldn’t even go to the sea. On the beach there are sunbeds for a fee, they make the whole beach in several rows, it’s problematic to lie on your towel. The weather is dry and very hot - 40 degrees, you feel like in a frying pan. In general, the holiday is ruined. It's my own fault, I should have read the reviews - they are mostly negative.

All inclusive - 1 type of draft beer, metaks and brandy (only after dinner), powdered wine (white and red dry), soft drinks, all powdered. There are no snacks. Well, the buffet, the quality is at best 3-ku. Fruits - watermelon (very rarely tasty), sometimes oranges. In the beach bar - everything is for the money. Wifi is only at the beach bar and slows down terribly. Numbers on a solid deuce. Clean only in the center, linen change after 3 days. They forget to change towels. Having ordered an apartment with a kitchen, from all this there was only kitchen furniture with a hood. No crockery, no kettle, no stove. The refrigerator was present. Shower cubicle! It was only called a cabin, water spilled over the entire toilet and shower room, the shower itself - the Christmas tree poured anywhere, but not where it was needed. They replaced it on the third try. The maid could enter during the day without knocking and permission, simply by opening the door with a key. The TV looked like a laptop monitor in size, there were 2 Russian and 4-5 local channels. The air conditioner hardly changed filters and was cleaned from dust and dirt. Animation for children did not interest my 4-year-old daughter. The adult pool did not interest me and my wife swam there a couple of times. Sunbeds he also engaged apparently still dark. Children's pool with only two slides of about 5 X 5 meters. There is a tennis table - one near the large pool, it's hot during the day, and it doesn't work in the evening. There is absolutely no entertainment at the hotel. There is absolutely nothing to do from this in the evenings. There is one plus, in my opinion - the sea and the bay. The waves are very rare and not large, the sand, the entrance to the sea is smooth and the water is clear and clean. The territory of the hotel, given the possibilities of the climate, was not impressive, it could be better to create and decorate. Now about the guides - as long as you buy excursions - you are needed and noticed by them. We rented a car and drove ourselves, and therefore were not interested in the guides. Like they do to us. Nika promised discounts and excellent cuisine at a "marine" restaurant in the port of Bali. We went and were disappointed, and the kitchen, and the service, and the discount. We stupidly made money and everything. And Nika, having given us restaurant cards, received her interest for them. Conclusion: The hotel is bad. And we won’t make such a mistake again, we definitely won’t go there! And I do not recommend to anyone! Love yourself more!! ! Don't waste your money!! ! You can talk endlessly about CRETE, but I advise tourists to see everything for themselves. Rent a car, a map and go on a trip around the island. The first point of our trip was the Melidoni Cave. We got to the cave pretty quickly, we didn’t stray anywhere. A rather steep ascent leads to the cave, but the road is excellent. The cave is famous not only for stalactites and stalagmites, but also for the fact that 700 Cretans died in it, mostly women and children hiding from the Turks, and the Ottoman pasha ordered to barricade the exit from the cave and light fires near it. People died from suffocation. Therefore, in the center of the cave, among the impressive stalactites and stalagmites, there is a large white tombstone with a cross in memory of the sad events. . The cave is well lit, so flashlights are not needed, but it is quite slippery, so I recommend taking care of appropriate shoes. The next on our way was the village of Margaritas. This is truly where time has stopped! It seems that people here are in no hurry. Silence, mountains, sun, friendly people sitting near their houses, pottery shops where you can try to work on the circle yourself, hospitable owners of taverns and small shops with honey, wine, olive oil - this is truly Greece from the inside. No wonder they say whoever was not in the mountains of Crete, he did not see him. We recommend it to everyone! Then our path lay through the only freshwater lake in Crete, Kournas, to Elafonisi, to the pink sands, where we went through the Topolia Gorge. Who loves extreme - you are here. Serpentine, mountains, gorge, stunning views - can not be expressed in words or photographs. We were especially shocked by the picture in one of the villages that we passed - an elderly woman on the balcony of the house, hanging right over the abyss against the backdrop of the setting sun and mountains!! ! It should have been seen. But let's return to the Topolia Gorge, or rather, we will safely leave it to the famous beach of "pink sands" Elafonisi. This is the most southwestern bay of Crete, where the waters of 2 seas - the Libyan and Cretan - mix. The place is just fantastic! The color of the sea water is turquoise-azure-sapphire, and the sand on the shallows is really pink! This is due to the fact that there are many unique pink shells in the waters of the bay. The purpose of our trip was not to “lying on a sunbed”, but to admire the beauties of nature. So we threw off our clothes and went to splash in the sea and wander along the pink shallows. On the beach of Oleny Island, where you can wade through the strait, there are several small backwaters where people, lying on pink sand, simply bask in the warm sea water. This is very briefly about our little trip, which took a whole day. It makes no sense to write in more detail, you need to see it. Well, in the end. . . No words are enough to convey the delight of a trip to this beautiful country. No photo can fully convey the beauty that can only be seen with your own eyes. . There was not enough time to visit the neighboring islands and travel around other corners of the island! And quite a bit about the hotel. The hotel lives up to its 3 stars. The biggest advantage is its location! It is located in a beautiful bay, almost right on the beach, which is very convenient for the elderly, people with children. And the sea! . . It's indescribable! Such a comfortable sea has not been seen anywhere else! Sand, smooth entry, lack of wind in the bay - fabulous! The staff is very friendly. I was especially pleasantly surprised by their attitude on the day of departure. The transfer was quite early (at 6 am). Despite this, a light breakfast, hot and cold drinks were provided, which was carefully informed by the hotel employee. We were seated right away even though we arrived early in the morning. The rooms are comfortable. The territory is not very big, but beautiful, cozy. Especially attracted the attention of huge cacti and aloe. But you, our guides Denis and Nika, left an indelible impression in our soul! None of the questions of our "big family" did not confuse you! We are eternally grateful to you! If you break it down into five, it will come out to about 10 Euros. I bought a guidebook in Russian in a shop next to the hotel with a detailed map of Crete and a description of all the sights. During these days we traveled a lot of extraordinarily beautiful and interesting places, visited Chania, Rethymnon, Agios Nikolaos, Heraklion, Elounda and much, much more. A huge plus of such a pastime: no one rushes you anywhere, does not set the time when you need to be on the bus and does not measure free time, and even goes out every five, and even more cheaper. I wanted to eat - we stopped, we chose a restaurant, we wanted to poke around - we chose a beautiful wild or municipal (they are free) beach, we wanted to buy souvenirs or something else - everything is in our hands! Now about the hotel. The biggest minus is the sharp contrast of the number of rooms. Standard rooms can be quite decent, but they can.... mold, damp, rarely cleaned, remote from the TV (sometimes in the evening after trips I wanted to lie down and watch something) they took it on deposit (I don’t remember the amount), but the TV didn’t show, or rather it showed, but everything crackled, blinked, hissed, etc. The food is normal, we had everything included, but we only dined once and ate a couple of dinners, because we always left for the whole day.... If we had known in advance, we would have taken only breakfast. A huge plus is the first line, which is not typical for triples. From alcoholic beer, metaks and wine red, white. Excellent beach bar. Music plays in the evening and all that. The area is a bit dirty. The staff is ordinary. The hotel is the first at the entrance to the village of Bali and there is a bus stop nearby on the highway, if you don’t have a license, but you want to go somewhere. The hotel positions itself as 3+, but the plus sign can be removed.... then it's all fair. Separate + all kinds of cafes and restaurants. . . Regardless of how much you ordered, you will definitely be brought "from the establishment" a small decanter of ouzo (their vodka), a jug of wine, a plate of fruit and dessert : ). Do not forget to try the national cuisine: of course, Greek salad, moussaka (such a layered baked stew) and octopus (grilled octopus tentacles). . . As for the Greeks, they are very friendly guys, they treat everyone well, especially the Slavs (after all, brothers of the same faith). So, comrade, pack your bags - and go ahead and with a song !! !
