Speaking of sandy beaches in the Kvarner Bay, I would especially like to highlight several resorts:
- The resort town of Crikvenica is located 125 km from Pula Airport and 165 km from Zagreb Airport. The city is an ancient town stretched along the coast, with a flat coastline, founded 600 years ago, is popular among tourists who prefer BEACH HOLIDAYS with children. Thanks to well-maintained sandy beaches, with developed infrastructure and plenty of entertainment, the resort has gained popularity not only among our compatriots, but also among tourists from nearby European countries.
Due to the excellent geographical position of the city, daylight hours are long and you can stay on the beach under the rays of the sun in the summer months until 20:30, after which you can watch one of the best landscapes in the world: the sunset over the island of Krk located in the sea. The Crikvenica Riviera has won the title of "One of the sunniest places in Europe". The most common type of accommodation during a holiday in Crikvenica is accommodation in private comfortable private apartments, which are usually located at a short distance from beaches, shops and the city center.
Considering the advantages of resting in the Crikvenica resort, we can highlight the following:
- sandy comfortable beaches, with a gentle, not deep entrance to the sea, with clean clear water;
- stretched coastline, allowing you to choose the most comfortable place on the beach for your family;
- many beach activities and services, cafes and shops, children's playgrounds, rides, water slides;
- for gourmets and lovers of gastro tours, along the entire embankment, and it stretches for several kilometers, many excellent restaurants work and offer various menus, both with sea and continental cuisine;
- a large selection of apartments located near the beach, which eliminates long hikes in the heat to the beach and back;
- the presence of grocery stores in all areas of the city;

The town of Baska is located on the eastern tip of the island of Krk. The valley overgrown with lush greenery, in which Baska is located, is surrounded by deserted rocky hills, which gives the local landscapes an indescribable charm. From a wide and long (about 2 km), pebble-sandy beach, the only one of its kind in the northern part of the Croatian Adriatic, a beautiful view of the bare rocky spurs of the uninhabited island of Prvič and the majestic mountain wall of the Velebit massif on the continental sandy beach, and The clean sea makes Baska a very popular holiday destination among Europeans and our compatriots.
But natural beauties and a unique beach are far from a complete list of what attracts many tourists to Baska.
Considering the advantages of resting in the Baska resort, the following can be distinguished:

- beautiful landscapes coming off the beach.
Considering the shortcomings of the Baska resort, we can safely note the following:
- a limited number of apartments, as the city is very small and most apartments are booked a few months before the start of the summer season;
- lack of a sufficient number of grocery stores;
- remoteness from the main tourist attractions;
- no international airport.
