From 12.06. 10 to 19.06. 10 I rested on the peninsula of Istria, more precisely, 20 minutes drive from the city of Porec, hotel Dolphin 2 *. I want to say that I doubted the choice of the hotel for a long time, but I was not disappointed for a minute. The Dolphin Hotel is a Soviet-era building, but with a fresh renovation both inside and out, located in a large park area on the first line, so the beach is a 5-minute walk. The beach is excellent, well-equipped, clean, there are small pebbles, and you can relax on the grass, and a concrete platform, no sand. A sunbed costs 20 kunas, by the way 1 euro = 7 kunas. The sea is very clean and warm +23 in early June. There is also a swimming pool with sea water, quite large. From 10-00 aqua aerobics passes in it, at 12-00 water polo, and in the evening tables are placed around, and nightlife begins with live music, I have never been there. There are two large TVs and sofas in the lobby, we watched football there, and when we checked out, it was something like a waiting room. The rooms are different, I can say from the single that it was a tiny room, but clean, after renovation, with a good view of the park. Towels in the room are changed every day, and daily cleaning too. True, there is one big minus - audibility is phenomenal, but I do not suffer from this. The food is good, as for 2 * super, there is a variety, especially at dinner. A big plus of the hotel, it is located not far from the city, you can get to Poreč by a bus that runs from the hotel every hour from 09-00, it costs 13 kunas, and the electric train is 20 kunas, but it takes about 10 minutes to go to the hotel Plavia, but ride stop, it goes along the coast. I walked 40 minutes on foot, 10 by car. Poreč is not a big city, with a beautiful historical part, a bus station from where you can get to Rovinj, Pula, Zagreb and many other cities, there is also a market and a large supermarket not far from the waterfront. I took excursions from Ivan, he is constantly in the hotel. Groups are recruited, only Russian speaking, the organization is good, and the prices are cheaper than the operator. Brioni 400 kunas. It is worth going an hour on a boat, 3 hours a tour of the island, of which an hour is walking. And free time. Plitvice Lakes 70 euros. Perhaps there is no need to comment here. Ride is a MUST. A bit on prices: wine GOOD "Laguna" -15 euros, honey-30 kn, cheese house. -50 kuns, olive oil 1l-55 kuns, ice cream-5 kunsharik, beer in the magician-10-15 kuns, in a cafe-20-25kuns, coffee from 7 kuns, water min from 5 kuns, but you can safely drink from the tap. Eat in a cafe for two from 60 kunas, large portions, food Pts. delicious. I will definitely come back for another 2 weeks, because I didn’t have time to sweat either Rovinj or Motovun. . . generally a lot. If time permits, take a guided tour. Sea trip for 25 euros. Everyone who went was very pleased.
