I flew to Milan for a conference, at the embassy I asked to give me a few days to review the country! I booked the hotel through the Booking. com website, in this country you can choose 2-3 * in the center, the hotels are very comfortable! The flight can be taken direct from Donetsk, or with transfers in Vienna - it's cheaper.

After the conference, there was a gala dinner with the organizers, and I clarified where it is better to go, what to see, Venice and Florence were advised. I had 3 days!

1st day - dedicated to Milan: a sightseeing tour (with headphones in Russian), which can be purchased on the square in front of Castello Sforzesco (metro station Cairoli, red line) for 20 €. I climbed to the roof of the Duomo for 5 €, on a sunny day you can see the Alps.

Walked along st. Buenos Aires (shopping street), I didn’t see anything extraordinary that you couldn’t buy at home! In Serrovalle, the outlet missed the bus, it leaves at 10.00 from the square in front of Castello Sforzesco (Cairoli metro station, red line) and returns at 17.00 for 20€.

Food in fast foods costs from 6 to 10 € (complex lunch), be sure to get acquainted with Italian cuisine, in a cafe pizza, resotto, pasta from 10 €.

Metro - 1€ for 1 trip. You can ask for a map at the hotel.

Wine costs from 2 €, I recommend buying for 10 €, as the Italians themselves say - “what is cheaper is not of high quality, what is more expensive is show-off”.

On the 2nd day I went to the railway station (metro station Centrale F. S. crossing the green and yellow lines), bought a ticket for the next flight (for € 80 round trip), it was a ticket to Florence, arrived in a couple of hours. I walked all day around the city, climbed the dome of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore (8 €). A very unusual bridge is Ponte Vecchio, where people used to live, and now they are jewelry stores. There is so much to see in this city!

3rd day at the railway station (metro station Centrale F. S. crossing the green and yellow lines) I bought a ticket (for 60 € in both directions) to Venice. Near the station, you can buy a ticket for a tram that sails along the Grand Canal (20 €) and swim to St. Mark (take bread, there are a lot of pigeons that are ready to eat and pose for a photo). Back to the railway station, you can walk along the beautiful streets (about an hour), you can linger in shops, buy jewelry from 5 €, glass souvenirs from 5-7 €, Venetian masks 20 €. Be sure to pass the famous Rialto Bridge. If you have time, you can go to the island of Murano, which is valued for glass products.

To everyone who is planning a trip, I wish you a good time!!!! !
