If we talk about high-quality European service, then it is absolutely impossible to have this hotel in mind. Especially if we talk about the category of European hotel 4 *. There is no concierge here (carry suitcases everywhere yourself). Living in a suite, you can only count on the second floor (they say that this category of rooms is only on the second floor) and, therefore, always closed curtains: otherwise, it seems that now passers-by will come to you from the intersection where the hotel stands (which, by the way, will see all the details of your figure, if you suddenly decide to change clothes).

Living in a suite, you can only count on the second floor (they say that this category of rooms is only on the second floor) and, therefore, always closed curtains: otherwise, it seems that now passers-by will come to you from the intersection where the hotel stands (which, by the way, will see all the details of your figure, if you suddenly decide to change clothes). Separately, I would like to note 1) paid bathrobes and slippers (it's called rent : )), 2) blankets with characteristic brown spots (I'm not Olya Freimut, but they can be seen with the naked eye, and they are on all, damn it, 4 blankets that were in the room), 3) holes in the duvet covers; 4) breakfasts where there is no table setting (i. e. you need to take forks and spoons from a large trough, in the best case, only salt on the tables, there is no pepper at all, there are no napkins at all), coffee is terrible, what called juice, it is a mixture of nasty powder with water, there is no packaged sugar at all (there is a common huge trough, from which everyone takes as much as they need), but the plates are a little larger than a saucer, and generally not tasty; 5) as well as the "cigar room" - the place because of which this hotel was chosen. The cigar room performed by this hotel is an ordinary Soviet smoking room where cigarettes are smoked (in the European sense, the Cigar Room is a place where ONLY cigars are sold and smoked, cigarettes are prohibited).
In a word, this is a good budget "troika", which is not worth the money they ask for it (I specifically checked, there are very worthy hotels in Riga for that kind of money, but, unfortunately, I checked it while already living in this hotel).
The positive reviews on booking. com, especially regarding breakfast, are completely incomprehensible. If you were in good European "fours", then you will not like this hotel
