2) And most importantly, the maids (or the specific one who serves the rooms of our corridor, my room is 227), do not clean the rooms at all. The third day I hang a sign with a request to clean the room. Throw out the trash, hang towels, clean the bed. And the floor in the bathroom is already black, the sink is the same, the soap in the dispenser is over.
As for me, all the advantages of this hotel fade in the dirt, but meanwhile I am a pretty neat person, not a pig. It is strange that people can do their job this way and no one really cares about this, since my review about cleaning, or rather its absence, is far from the first. Wouldn't recommend and won't be returning to this hotel.

nice hotel in a unique quarter from the middle ages. nearby is Va?? u street, where there are beautiful shops, restaurants and bars, in short a good location for a hassle-free acquaintance with the city. WiFi works well, shower could be bigger.

The hotel restaurant is located "across the road" from the lobby.

Windows - on a neighboring building (you can’t reach it with your hand, we tried). There are no slippers in the room, no safe, no air conditioning, no shampoos, no bags in the trash cans, no refrigerator, no light. Joke, there is a little light.
Latvian youth loves to walk the streets at night and sing songs. Narrow streets and the proximity of neighboring houses create an excellent acapella, make their voices powerful, loud, exciting! The last baritones leave at about 3:30 am. Garbage cans on our street are taken out at about 4-30, they are loaded in about an hour. True, not every day.
== About breakfasts ==
They love to eat here. Buffet and selection is pretty decent. In the American "troikas" it was worse, in the Egyptian fours - about the same, I will not compare with the Turkish fives...

Our acquaintance with the hotel began with the fact that we were given the keys to the smoking room. In addition to the appropriate paraphernalia (for steers), the room was perfectly flavored with tobacco smoke that had eaten into the walls. We asked for another room, referring to our request in the booking. We were kindly provided with it, but in the second room it was SO pinched that we even thought that the previous guests had not moved anywhere, but were standing and smoking behind the curtains. It stank so much that we didn't even cross the door threshold. They quickly ran to ask for the first number back. But the kind receptionist gave us the keys to the third room, which turned out to be a single room (we booked a double room). With the FOURTH number we were lucky. Still, the theory of probability works, it saved us.
However, we were saved by one more thing - free cookies at the reception. Every time we went downstairs for the keys to the next room, I took a couple of pieces, and this saved the world.
Conclusion: I highly recommend this hotel, cookies save it!
