The Brühl Terrace (or "Balcony of Europe") is one of Dresden's main attractions. It is a half-kilometer segment on the embankment of the Elbe River, between the Augusta Bridge and the Carola Bridge. The terrace was created in the 16th century as part of the fortifications of Dresden. Count von Brühl, thanks to whom the terrace got its name, built various buildings here - a library, a gallery, a palace. At the end of the 19th - beginning of the 20th century, as a result of reconstruction, the Brühl terrace acquired a modern look. Currently, both tourists and residents of Dresden like to relax here.

View from the side.

Being on the Terrace itself, it is impossible to appreciate its beauty. Be sure to walk along the embankment to the bridge and from there admire the Brü hl terrace! A very beautiful place!→

Balcony of Europe

A walk along the Brü hl terrace is included in the sightseeing tour. If you are traveling on your own, then be sure to set aside at least an hour - one and a half (or more if you sit in some kind of pub) time and take a look at the buildings and palaces. There is a description.→
