Valley of the Beauties

Valley of the Beauty is located just 20 minutes from the center of Eger. The first settlers of these lands worshiped the goddess Venus, after whom the valley was named. Along the valley are vineyards of various varieties. There are about 200 wine cellars here, many of which are several centuries old. Of the wines produced, the most famous are the "Girl from Eger" and "Bull's Blood" wines.

colorful place
A fountain, a well-groomed small park and wine cellars around it. There are many of them, similar to nice little houses from some kind fairy tale. Almost everyone can pay for the purchase with a card, and not suffer with currency exchange. The wine is delicious, the impressions were good)→

Wine and food.
Since visiting the cellars has already been described, I will add my "five cents". Ask the owners of the cellar for an older wine, it's not Beaujolais, and you will even get "Bull's blood" of very good quality. If your trip to Hungary is just beginning, then do not take wine in plastic bottles (canisters). You will have the opportunity to buy wine of better quality and even for gifts. In addition to the cellars, which are taken by travel agencies, there are a sufficient number of restaurants. If you have already been to the presentations of the cellars, then just go to any other restaurant.→

Lovers of good wine and delicious goulash
Since it is impossible to leave Hungary without wine, the best way to taste the wine before buying it is to attend a tasting in one of the many cellars of the "Valley of Beauties". As a rule, six Eger wines from dry to ice are offered for sampling. After tasting and a detailed story by the owner of the cellar about the dignity of each of the varieties, you can buy the wine you like. There are taring options, both in traditional glass bottles and in plastic canisters with a capacity of one to five liters.→
