There is only one Prince's Palace in Monaco, despite the wealth and luxury of the country itself. This is rather because for more than seven hundred years the principality has been ruled by one dynasty - the Grimaldi, which has only strengthened its castle since the 13th century. We arrived in Monte Carlo for just one day from Genoa with a change in Ventimiglia. I was lucky to buy two tickets for a high-speed train for the price of one for 32 euros (I don’t even know what kind of promotion they had), but this was just the best price for such a distance - two tickets would have been expensive.→
