Drama Theater named after A. S. Pushkin

Pushkin Drama Theater
Crimea, Kerch
The Pushkin Drama Theater is located in the city center, next to the stele and just 400 meters from the Church of John the Baptist. The theater was founded at the turn of the 18th-19th centuries and existed until 1939. The plays “Dowry” by A. N. Ostrovsky, “Easy Man” by S. Kolkov, “To Be Continued” by A. Burshtein and many others were staged on its stage. Later, several attempts were made to restore the theater, but they were unsuccessful. Now the theater is successfully functioning, combining classical and modern repertoire.
