Answer for the question Who was in Side for the New Year? Which hotel do you recommend for winter?
I was in Turkey in Side in a small local hotel Sevil Hotel in the center of the town, 5 minutes from the beach, the ruins of the Temple of Apollo and shopping streets for the November holidays - October 30-November 7.

Autumn and New Year on the coast in Turkey. Side.
For the New Year, I bought a tour to the 5 * Crystall Sunrise Queen hotel. 3 km to Side, in the village of Kumkoy. A good alternative to the Podmoskovny rest house. Hammam, saunas, heated indoor pool, excellent food.

Great quiet place - almost Europe
I found the SEVIL hotel - Sevil hotel - myself in August 2012, walking through the quiet side streets of Side. The hotel is private. 3 floors, patio/garden where breakfast is served.

Barcelona in spring is beautiful!
We traveled in April 2012 to the Suizo hotel in Barcelona. The most common 3 stars. Don't expect anything. Old hotel, old bathroom, old rooms. 2 Euro for renting a safe key.

Hurghada - New Year
Rested on the New Year 2011. Maybe a review of a year ago is outdated - but given the New Year 2012, it can be useful. We traveled with 3 adults and 1 child - 10 years old.

Domina Coral Bay Aquamarine
I rested alone with a child (9 years old) from October 9 to October 16.2010. Everything is fine - for Egypt it is not a bad level. . . I had no problems with accommodation, food, service.
