Very beautiful nature...
The resort itself and the hotel are new and poorly organized so far. It's hard to ride on weekends. The Geyikli lift was only open for one hour, but it's a very slow lift, 12 minutes up for a 2-3 minute descent.

15 minutes ride, 8 hours waiting
A very good hotel has appeared on Kartepe, and that's all! If you want to go skiing, go somewhere else! There are a lot of lifts, but they can't handle the traffic. You have to stand in line for the lift for 30 minutes in order to then go down in 2 minutes!

On Mondays, the two main lifts are closed. The condition of lifts and slopes does not meet international standards. From Monday to Friday the resort is quiet, no queues. On Saturday, I could no longer ride as there were a lot of people.

Not for the pros!
There is only one recently opened hotel in the Kartepe resort. Kartepe is located near Istanbul, which is very convenient for trips for a couple of days. On weekends there are long queues for the lifts, you have to wait 10 minutes for the descent, which lasts two minutes.

Great little hotel in the historic part of town - a skier's dream. The ski bus stops 10 meters from the hotel. The hotel is very cozy, but unfortunately there are no services such as sauna, swimming pool, internet, etc.

Traveled with kids and friends. Liked everything. Sufficiently spacious rooms. Good furniture. A cool feature - between the bathroom and the room is a large glazed opening (unusual).

cozy hotel, located in the immediate vicinity of the slopes. The food is simply wonderful, the variety is small, but everything is very tasty. the staff is friendly. the prices in the hotel bar were a pleasant surprise, much lower than in the village and on the mountain.

Close to ski lifts but service leaves a lot to be desired
The hotel, like many in Borovets, was built back in the 80s. Make a conclusion. In the rooms, for example, there is no hair dryer (In Bansko, where almost all hotels are of recent construction, you will not find such an omission anymore) But Samokov stands right next to the ski lift.

Rested in March 2006, the hotel is located near the starting station of the ski lifts. The rooms are small but have everything you need. Good SPA center: sauna, hammam, swimming pool, jacuzzi.
