I must say right away that to visit the farm it is advisable to take comfortable shoes with you, in which you can go into the water, and an umbrella (the tour is quite long, takes place in the open).
The Menai Bay Conservation Area is a great place where you can fully experience the beauty of Zanzibar's nature and see sea turtles. Please note that swimming is not allowed in the reserve.
Prison Island is worth a trip for the turtles. They are really huge, each has an age written on the shell, many are over 100 years old. The island is small, there are few people.
The famous monkeys are red colobus, in this park they can be seen in close proximity. At the entrance to the park, they give a guide who talks about the park in English and takes you to the most interesting places along scenic routes.
The ancient walls of the fort remind of the colonial history of the city, its significance and amaze with its power. Now everything is peaceful here and the fortress has turned into just a walking place with souvenir shops where you can buy souvenirs for every taste.
The House of Wonders is probably the largest building in Zanzibar. It was named the House of Wonders because at the time of its construction, electricity, plumbing, and especially the elevator (probably now the only one in the whole of Zanzibar) were an unprecedented miracle.
