The island of Sri Lanka is an expanse for naturalists, lovers of botany, zoology and the discovery channel. There are almost 2 dozen reserves, and in the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, which is included in any sightseeing tour of the island, you can easily communicate with the giants.

It became somehow sad at the sight of 3 "compromising" photos in the photogallery of the country, which - in my opinion - is one of the most interesting within a real flight from Europe (5-6 hours from Ukraine or Russia).
