Interesting for history buffs
The fortress is not large, but it seems that the apostle Matthew is buried here (the grave is not allowed to be dug up). Entrance fee - 3 GEL. I was lucky, they let me and a few other "latecomers" in after closing (18-00) for free.

We really enjoyed this piece of Italy in Georgia. Many cafes (we were in Mimino), many places for photo shoots. Pretty!
