Steep gate to the studio
Ukraine › Kyiv › Film Studio Victoria
Entrance to the studio itself is prohibited, but the gates are made cool. Of course everything is plastic, like in Vegas. But you can stop by to stare for 10 minutes. Somewhere 10 km from Kyiv in the direction of Zhytomyr, about 300 meters to the left of the highway.

Soviet museum, but with soul
Ukraine › Zhytomyr › Space Museum
The museum was opened recently, only in 1991. Not a baby, but still a child by museum standards. Unexpectedly, there are a lot of real exhibits that have been in space and returned from there, mostly ships and capsules.

A small church near Ilinskaya
Ukraine › Kyiv › Church of Nicholas Naberezhny
Literally around the corner from the Ilyinsky Church is a small original church of Nikolai Naberezhny. Interesting from Wikipedia: The church was placed on the banks of the Pochaina near the place where a child allegedly drowned in 1092, who was miraculously found alive in front of the icon of St.

Beautiful place for a picnic
Ukraine › Korostyshiv › Korostyshevsky canyon
Amazing place near Kyiv. Flooded granite quarry in the forest, with clear water and sheer walls. Many people come here with tents or barbecues. Climbers climb steep walls.

The caves are strong
Ukraine › Kyiv › Archangel Mikhailovsky Zverinets Monastery
The newly built monastery was tucked between huge private mansions on Michurin Street. To my shame, I did not know that the monastery was built near the famous caves that have existed for a millennium.

Perhaps the best Kyiv cathedral among modern
Ukraine › Kyiv › Transfiguration Cathedral
Among the modern Kyiv churches, which have no historical value, the Spaso-Preobrazhensky has the greatest architectural value. He's very handsome. You can't take your eyes off the soft elegant lines.

Factory ruins occupied by poachers
Ukraine › Kinburn Spit › Mussel Oyster Plant
Some say that the plant never worked. Others say that he produced canned food, such as "Tourist's Breakfast" with only mussels. Now these are two abandoned buildings occupied by local poachers.

Their vineyards and wine
Ukraine › Kherson › Restaurant Kuren
Pleasant restaurant on the district of Kherson. Not cheap but delicious. I recommend grilled catfish. Own vineyards, winery and cellars. Playground. I advise you to stop by if you are passing along the way.

Remains of Herodotus Forest (Gilea)
Ukraine › Kinburn Spit › Herodotus forest
You walk along a hot sandy desert, you go down into a ravine, and there is a fabulous forest, dark, humid, swamps and swamps. Huge alder roots are buried in swampy puddles.

700-year-old oak tree and a forester's strict wife
Ukraine › Kinburn Spit › Volyzhin forest
The Kinburn Spit is a large nature reserve, but it has several especially important protected areas. Volyzhin oak forest is probably the most forbidden of them. Not all locals were here.

A very beautiful place
Ukraine › Uman › Canyon and waterfalls on the river Gorny Tikich
I was most interested in the remains of a stone structure right above the water, reminiscent of a restaurant for the party elite. It turned out that these are the remains of the first hydroelectric power plant, launched back in 1929.

Great adventure
Ukraine › Voznesensk › Buzhsky Guard
A rock, a river with rapids and a radon lake - all this in the Buzhsky Gard reserve. The rock is high, but submissive, and extremely picturesque. And the conqueror will be rewarded with the most beautiful views of the bends of the Southern Bug and the surrounding landscapes.

Need to go for the steppes
Ukraine › Kherson › Reserve Askania-Nova
The zoo is not of great interest, as well as the arboretum. But getting into the steppe was not so easy. The phone number from the site where you had to sign up for the tour did not answer.

From dirt to Kings
Ukraine › Zaliznyi Port › Geyser in the Iron Port
It's terrible and beautiful at the same time. It's wonderful what nature has done. The fact that it is located far from civilization, in an open field. Beautiful water - temperature, saturation, healing (probably).

Phenomenal cutlets and potatoes
Ukraine › Kyiv › Star Burger on Khreshchatyk
A notable establishment "Star Burger" appeared on Khreshchatyk. Ran there by accident after a successful meeting. And I almost jumped back when I found out how much a regular burger costs (100 UAH or $4 according to the current whore)!

Big mall with supermarket
Egypt › Hurghada › Shopping center Senzo Mall
Quite a large mall with a supermarket. We enjoyed spending an hour and a half here. A bunch of clothes shops of international brands, as well as local production. Mostly inexpensive.

oldest christian
Turkey › Istanbul › Church of St. Irene
It is said to be the only Christian church in Istanbul that has not been converted into a mosque. Moreover, the church is almost 2 thousand years old, like the famous Hagia Sophia.

When you get there you will be rewarded
Turkey › Istanbul › Chamlydzha hill
We took a tour of the Asian side of Istanbul. And the park on the Ç amlı ca hill was one of the points. From the top of the hill there is an excellent view of the Bosphorus, the bridges and the European part of Istanbul.

famous shopping street
Turkey › Istanbul › Istiklal street
A busy pedestrian street filled with a bunch of people. Cars are not allowed to enter here, but trams are allowed. And here he is, red-faced, squeezing through the crowd that is walking along the rails.

Center of New Istanbul
Turkey › Istanbul › Taksim Square
Taksim is the center of the new Istanbul. However, there are no skyscrapers here, and the square is surrounded by rather dull architecture. The most picturesque view in the second photo.

Beautiful park
Turkey › Istanbul › Gulhane Park
We got to the park by accident, on the run from the Galata Bridge to Sultanahmet. It was not our destination. The tulips had not yet bloomed, the trees were without leaves, and the fountain was not working.

Museum in diapers
Turkey › Istanbul › Museum of Contemporary Art "Istanbul Modern"
Ljubo museum, located in such a popular tourist city as Istanbul and named "Museum of Modern Art" - is destined to be popular. And regardless of what and who exhibited there.

A mosque that cannot be seen from the outside
Turkey › Istanbul › Mosque Rustam Pasha
The mosque is squeezed right into a residential area with a market, so it is impossible to look at it from the outside. Look for the entrance too. But the inside is very nice, warm and cozy.

Great but boring
Turkey › Istanbul › Suleymaniye Mosque
A huge building on a hill that towers over Istanbul. But cold, boring and go far. Didn't penetrate. Better to go to Rustem Pasha.

Mosque as a mosque
Turkey › Istanbul › Mihrimah Sultan Mosque (Uskyudar)
Mosques were built not only by sultans, but also by their wives. Mihrimah has already built two - on the European and on the Asian side. Pretty, feminine, cozy, but nothing particularly surprised.
