TURIM ALAMEDA 4 * - opened in 2008 - with beautiful furniture, modern design, varied food and helpful staff!! ! Small troubles happen everywhere, but the ease with which the hotel staff solved our difficulties is worthy of respect.

We didn’t choose the hotel ourselves - we trusted the professionals (the local Portuguese travel agency Beloura), for which many thanks to them (they even sent a map of movement around the city in advance! )!
TURIM ALAMEDA 4 * - opened in 2008 - with beautiful furniture, modern design, varied food and helpful staff!! ! Small troubles happen everywhere, but the ease with which the hotel staff solved our difficulties is worthy of respect. And special respect for the patience with which they treated a group of Russian tourists who either cannot turn on the light themselves, or open the door, or they can, but they want attention : )
The hotel is very quiet, although it is in the city center, 5 minutes walk from the metro, close to the Russian embassy. In this silence and on an amazingly comfortable bed, I finally forgot about insomnia : ) Breakfast is a buffet with a very good choice - sausage, ham, sausages, omelettes, puddings, yogurts, fruits, desserts... In general, a great variety. And everything is very tasty.
Some might say that the hotel is just new and this explains its high quality. May be. But the quality is high! And the main asset of Portugal is people, whether in a hotel or on the street - you will always be helped and paid attention. But be prepared for the fact that most do not speak English (the maid or passer-by may not understand you), but when you hear the key word, they take you by the hand and, smiling, lead you to the right place. They say about the Portuguese that they are slow, good-natured, but... lazy. In general, my complete reflection : ) I will definitely return there not on a business trip, but to be too lazy with them!
