We traveled in August by train with friends to Kazan and stayed at the Volga Hotel. In general, I liked it - for such money, very good. The hotel is clean and tidy. Good repair. The room is small. Only visitors are accommodated. We stayed two nights, so we can put "4+" for the quality of service and room cleaning.

We stayed two nights, so we can put "4+" for the quality of service and room cleaning. It's clean and comfortable. The food at the hotel is very tasty, I especially like the breakfast buffet.
If you came to Kazan by train, then this hotel is for you. It is enough to cross the road, walk 500 meters, and you are there. Very convenient location of the Volga, almost in the center. Everything is nearby - come out and the Kremlin is already a 10-minute walk.
Prices are low. The staff is attentive.
In general, the hotel is good. If I am in Kazan again, I will definitely stay here. Recommended as a budget option.

Upon arrival, only one administrator worked at the reception, so we had to stand in line for a long time, as we were settled as a group of 50 people. This is a minus. At the entrance there is strict security with a frame and a check through the X-ray device of each bag and packages. This is a plus. The standard double room we got at first glance was clean and comfortable.

But there were also shortcomings: even for a two-star hotel, cobwebs with fat spiders on the windows, which, as it turned out later, roamed the beds on foot at night, are unforgivable. Nothing pleasant.
The rest, poorly fixed sockets, bedside lamps without bulbs - which had to be called an electrician, in the shower curtains from simple wet curtains... turned out to be small things compared to the living creatures of the room.
We were pleased with the breakfast buffet with a variety of dishes and lunches. Everything is hearty and delicious.

Nice hotel, especially for the price. It is conveniently located, even in the evening it is good to return. This hotel has single rooms (namely single rooms), which is not often the case. We settled in the morning, about seven o'clock, they did not take money for this. The rooms are clean. The rooms are small but enough for one.

I was afraid that it would be noisy from the station, but nothing. You can hear the road (road) with the windows open. There is no air conditioner. Cooler with hot and cold water and ironing board with iron on each floor, quite affordable. I had a room without a refrigerator (but I knew about it in advance). It's bad that there is no microwave on the floor, but they said that you can ask the maid to warm it up. The linen is clean, white, the room was cleaned and towels changed daily, linen was not changed for 4 nights. The Internet is quite, freely entered both from the phone and from the tablet. Breakfasts are included in the price. Quite decent buffet, there were vegetables and cereals and hot. Tea, coffee, several types from the coffee machine. Summary: I liked the hotel, but for such a price. I'll probably stay here next time.

I was in this hotel from 12/24/2009 to 12/27/2009, the hotel fully justifies its stars. A Soviet-style hotel, quite comfortable, the rooms are relatively freshly renovated, double-glazed windows, the furniture is a bit tired, the bed linen is clean, the water in the tap is not very good, but I think it is the same in all of Kazan !!! The room rate includes a breakfast buffet in the morning.
