Dear tourists, be sure to read reviews not only about your hotel, but also about your tour operator! Three days ago (12.05) we returned from Tunisia, so I want to write two reviews: about the hotel and about Tunisia (I’ll write one about the One2Go tour operator - don’t mess around! ).
1) Before the start of the tour, I found as much information as possible about the hotel where we were going to go. All reviews turned out to be true, all photos are real! The LTI Mahdia Beach Hotel is fully consistent with its 4 *. Quiet, relaxing family hotel!
The rooms are spacious, many overlook the garden, the rest are on the sea, the renovation in the room is not super, but for an overnight stay it’s even nothing. It is better to take a hair dryer with you. The whole area is clean and well-groomed, the room is cleaned every day, they don’t ask for tips, but if you give, they are very happy.

The reception works promptly, if there are any problems, they immediately solve it, at no additional charge. The staff speaks German, French, a little English, Russian - a few words! Of the tourists, most of the Germans, a few French, British and Italians, very few Russians.
The animators tried - all pensioners and those over 40 were delighted, for young people of course it is very boring, for girls it is interesting in the afternoon aqua aerobics, aerobics on the steppes, belly dancing. In the evening, the show is in German, but it's even boring to watch, and there is a disco - for everyone.
A separate delight is the kitchen! Fed for slaughter, the food is very tasty and varied. Morning breakfast until 11 am, afternoon lunch from 11:30 am to 4 pm, dinner from 6 pm to 10 pm. Drinks from 11 am to 10 pm. Nobody was hungry, though, and drunk too. Local drink is not very tasty and very diluted, and it is very difficult to find something decent in the city. There is always a line at the bar. All drinks are not local spill at crazy prices.
Towel for the beach and a TV remote control on bail (the deposit is returned! ), Mattresses for sun loungers are paid.
Excursions in the hotel are very expensive. You can go on excursions yourself 3 times cheaper! For comparison: ex. to the Zoo 45 dinars per person ($ 1 = 1.1 dinars), if you yourself - round trip 12 dinars, entrance 5 dinars; fishing on a ship 40 euros per person for 3 hours, if you yourself in Sousse from 10 dinars for half a day + travel 15 dinars round trip.
Shops in the hotel are much more expensive than in the city.

2) And I also want to write to those who want to go for a walk in the city. The locals are all smiling, but they grumble something in the back, they really don’t like tourists, especially Russians. They try to cheat on everything (in principle, this is in any country). Taxi drivers close the meters and double the price (2 dinars from a hotel in Mahdia, they take min. 4, or even 5-6). If you ask for directions where to go, then you can walk for a long time, they have 5 minutes - this is exactly half an hour. They can confuse right with left or deliberately deceive and leave, so you can walk for a long time. The area is very dirty, construction is going on everywhere. But there is nothing in the city, you can take a walk, but be wary, I don’t recommend necklines and short skirts for girls, local men react very sharply, stare at fair girls.
I wanted to say about dissatisfied tourists, in principle, I understand, you always want to pay less, but get GO-GO, but most tourists spoil their vacation for themselves, and this is not so, and that is not at all the case, our tourists do not have a good rest if you do not grumble !! ! Service in this hotel for as much as you bought a ticket! The hotel is very good, we were all very satisfied!!!
This hotel is for a good family vacation, not noisy, clean, not intrusive service, in general, he is his own boss. If you want a youth movement - then in Sousse!
Have a good holiday everyone!! !
