We chose the hotel long before the planned vacation and therefore approached the choice, let's say, with all seriousness and responsibility, which, however, did not save us from surprises, unfortunately not always pleasant ones. It is worth noting that by the end of the holiday, we put up with many things or simply got used to it, and the hotel was already rated by me as a good one.
So, I'll start with the cons, since you notice them right away.
one). We had to change rooms twice because the air conditioning didn't work. The situation of $ 20 at the reception was not affected in any way.
2). on the first day there was a terribly dirty sea - muddy, with algae, garbage. It should be noted that on other days it was already clean, transparent, and by the way, very warm.
3). Pretty dirty, but I think it's more of a national feature. The ubiquitous flies were annoying - in the dining room, on the beach, near the pool.

4). I think a separate column should describe the impressions of communicating with local residents. Intrusive service, annoying sellers on the beaches, and especially annoying and disrespectful sellers in the city probably didn’t impress us as much as their innate desire to cheat you for money. Therefore, a couple of notes - you should immediately bring down the price that you are called every 10 times, and boldly turn around and leave if you can lose a maximum of 5 dinars in price. And it is better to ride in a taxi for the agreed amount. We had a case when we were taken by the meter, and we overpaid twice as much, as we swept with the breeze along the ring road . . and not along the shortest road.
five). The beach is quite narrow and there are really few sunbeds, which, however, did not prevent us from sometimes finding a couple of free ones. The same is true for the sunbeds by the pool.
6). The furniture in the room is old and as if hastily put together : ) by the way, the iron stool in the bathroom struck the imagination))
And now the pluses.
one). Huge green and well-groomed territory. Three large pools and slides - there are children's, and there are more, where both adults and children rode. Oh so cool and fun.
2). Three mini bars, respectively, near each pool.
3). Cleaned up every day.
4). We went on an excursion to El Jem and the mosque in Kairouan. I also liked it, no pretensions to the organization.
five). I liked the food in general, and on Sunday there was a national evening - national cuisine, folk dances with tambourines)
6). Animation. Although we did not attend any such party, but definitely for children - this is the best hotel, they are very fond of entertaining them here. So most likely it is still a family hotel.
It may be worth noting some other nuances, but I wrote that I remembered the first) In general, I liked everything, since the main thing is a great mood and a desire to spend a vacation with a bang)
