We rested in Taksim from 7 to 14 October 2008. I'll probably be impressed for at least six months. Amazing trip. Liked everything!
We drove to the hotel for 3 hours. Time flew by unnoticed, because. the guide gave out information all the time, he asked me to write down some things, after giving out pens. Very quickly issued at the reception (at no extra charge). They settled in building A, in a two-room suite of a higher cost with a jacuzzi, a huge plasma TV, after apologizing for the inconvenience caused (relocation). The next day at 9 am we were given our room in the same building. There were no bathrobes, toothpaste, brushes. Although our guide interpreter said that the bedding was changed every three days, I had a suspicion that they changed every day. Hand towels after a shower and a rug in the bathroom were different every day, apparently the maid, whom we never saw, considered them stale and changed them. I really regret that I did not thank her for her attentiveness and professionalism. One day they came to the room late and heard the vacuum cleaner working for 3-5 minutes. Apparently at night they clean the rooms for newcomers.
It is a pity that in the restaurant and in all places of eating they do not make excursions with a Russian-speaking guide. I don't think we've explored everything yet. Breakfast starts at 7 am, turns into a second breakfast, which, in turn, smoothly flows into lunch until 3 o'clock. The restaurant closes until 7 o'clock - dinner. Dinner is served with starched napkins and all necessary cutlery. The audience dresses accordingly, as after the performance begins on the stage. By the way, between lunch and dinner, vacationers eat in nearby bars. Don't forget to visit the bungalow. In front of your eyes, they will prepare cakes with cheese and meat. It should be noted that in addition to dessert, the food is oriented towards Europeans. 20 types of salads, muesli and the like are poured with cold or hot milk, fried eggs and bread fried in an egg. I liked puree soups, hot puff pastries with stuffing and mini pizzas. Potatoes, pasta, spaghetti in various dishes with and without sauces. Watermelons and melons all day. Other fruits are plums, apples, pears, tangerines alternately.

Ice cream, in autumn, is offered only from 12:30 to 14 hours. Very delicious.
The beach is located next to the hotel, you need to go through the transition. An employee meets you, he will open an umbrella, spread a towel, and clean up used dishes throughout the day. The beach bar is open until 7pm. Everywhere the paths are tiled. Very comfortably. By noon, the sand was hot, walking on it would be uncomfortable, hot. We immediately warn you that you do not need to enter the sea from the shore, only through the pier. Don't experiment. We did it for you. There are 2 stairs on the pier, more gentle and steeper. The sea is great! Clean, warm, very salty - very easy to swim, the water holds. Sunbathed on comfortable beds with mattresses. On the beach, the animators offer to play volleyball all day long. Beach towels are changed at the reception on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday mornings.
Although we were promised a “Turkish night” at the hotel (the catalogs said that it was once a week, but later it turned out that it was once every 10 days), we went on an excursion to the 2nd century castle-fortress, having bought a ticket from the hotel guide. The impression is amazing! I don't think you can put on a show like this on a hotel stage. The tour cost $40. Next to the hotel it was offered for $20. We also went to the "Turkish bath" as an excursion for 40 dollars, although in our hotel it was offered cheaper. But we don't regret it. After the steam room, we swam in a pool with mineral bubbling and fragrant water, in a waterfall with scalding cold water. And warming up on granite slabs, scrub massages and massages with oil, the same as in the hotel. Be sure to take rubber slippers so as not to use the common ones.
On the territory of two pools, the water is much colder than in the sea. In the swimming pool of the B building, the slides are steep for the untrained.

We express our special gratitude to the animators Vika (from Ukraine) and Tashim (Africa). The guys are very talented. If you are traveling with children, the latter will never be bored, thanks to Vicki's efforts. And Tashim is generally a professional actor. In the summer, water aerobics classes are held every morning in the pools.
Most of all I liked the fact that there are few Russians in the hotel. Germans, Dutch, Poles are very friendly and direct people. Take a break from mom. We appreciated the adequate Germans when we went on an excursion with the Russians. One girl sent our guide obscene, as he refused to include Russian songs in. So when choosing a tour, I will always pay attention to the ratio of Russians and Ukrainians to Europeans.
In general, I liked everything. But building C does exist on the territory. Both Russians and Europeans are accommodated there when there are not enough places in buildings A and B. Someone is accommodated for 2-3 days, and someone, at the peak of the season, for all 10 days. We ourselves were not there, but we talked with the animators who live there. This building is similar to a hostel, the staff does not complain. But for tourists who have paid for accommodation in a 4 * hotel, this is unacceptable. I think that in order to avoid this situation, you should not make a fuss, spend money on calls to the tour operator. Just pay the administrator 15-20$. And they try to solve problems.
