After this trip, I firmly nailed one thing on my nose - I will NEVER go anywhere else without first reading the reviews. We came to the agency for a specific tour, but the manager said, "Let's see if there is something on fire. " So we ended up in this hotel… Who doesn’t like to read long reviews (I myself am one), I’ll say the main thing right away - this hotel is for a very lazy “eat and sleep” holiday, there’s nothing else to do there at all, there’s no animation there, there’s also not much to do in the village of Bitez. … More ▾ After this trip, I firmly nailed one thing on my nose - I will NEVER go anywhere else without first reading the reviews. Who doesn’t like to read long reviews (I myself am one), I’ll say the main thing right away - this hotel is for a very lazy “eat and sleep” holiday, there’s nothing else to do there at all, there’s no animation there, there’s also not much to do in the village of Bitez. I strongly do not recommend this hotel! ! He does not pull on a four - this is a three, a three. Even with the downside. . .
Well, now in more detail.
Number. First we were given a room on the first floor of the second line of houses. Upon arrival, no one bothered to help bring our things, we (I, a fragile girl, and my mother) dragged the bags up steeply. The room itself was like a two-room apartment - living room, kitchen and bedroom. There was no view from the room, as the houses in front of it were all blocked. They cleaned it every other day and not very carefully - the dust, for example, was never wiped off (if someone now thinks that this is because everything was littered with things, then this is not so - the surfaces were completely free of foreign objects). In our room, the air conditioner in the living room did not work well and the shower was leaking, so we asked for it to be changed. Well, at least we were lucky with this - we were given a room on the third floor with a beautiful view of the entire bay. Everything was already working in it and nothing was leaking. I never gave money to the reception - neither at check-in, nor when changing rooms. Bedding and towels have never been changed in 12 days, although they themselves put up an announcement in the bathroom that towels are changed every other day, and bed linen twice a week. The kitchen is complete, but there are no utensils. Both rooms had air conditioning, TV and a balcony overlooking the sea. Well, the wind is constantly blowing there, so if you leave things to dry without clothespins or without tying them, they are guaranteed to be carried away, and you may not find them.
Food. In the early days it was so-so and everything was sooo spicy. Then either the chef changed, or just someone complained, but it improved. The quality of the dishes is a four, but the assortment is very scarce. It is understandable, the hotel is not large (for 100 people), but still. From fruits - watermelon, melon, apples, plums. In the second half of our stay, there were a lot more tourists, mostly Germans and Turks, and the food improved even more.
P e r c o n a l. They are friendly, but not very diligent. For the most part, young people who still have to study and study, but I did not see the desire to do this in them. In one thing, we were lucky - literally for 15 days the hotel management invited a very experienced either a waiter or a manager who trained and supervised everyone else. And, besides this, he showed an example of how to behave with guests - very polite and courteous, he cheered everyone up.
Interestingly, when we spoke phrases in Turkish (standard "thank you", "hello", etc. ), they were extremely pleased. Apparently, European tourists do not consider it necessary to try to learn Turkish.
M ore. Again, hello to the agency. We were told that the Aegean Sea is very beautiful and about 1.5 degrees cooler than the Mediterranean. In terms of beauty, there is none in Bitez. It doesn’t really look like a sea - you can’t see the open sea, since there is a bay on one side, and islands on the other. There are practically no waves, there is simply no smell of the sea... In terms of temperature, if the Mediterranean seemed even hot to us last year in mid-September, then here, I thought, it would be just right. But no, it's cold! For 10 minutes of swimming I had "goose bumps". What is most disgusting is the undercurrents. That is, you swim like nothing, and then you get under a cold shower... And there is nowhere to go... The hotel has a very bad private beach. The wooden sunbeds are ancient, the mattresses on them are also “not the first freshness”. When entering the sea up to the ankles of a mule, the beach is not cleared. If you move a little to the left to the territory of the 3S beach, then it is better there. Since it is quite shallow and the beach is sandy, it is not transparent, but muddy. You can go to other beaches, but there you either pay for the day, or buy food and / or drinks. Moreover, as they explained to us on one beach, it won’t work to buy one water and lie whole, you need to buy something else. We went to the beach behind the surf club. The beach is very cool - there is no longer sand, but a rocky bottom, so the water is clear. Very well maintained, sun loungers are new. At first it was free, but after about a week it suddenly became paid (50 lire per day per person). Why, I did not understand - they told me something about Ramadan, although it continued throughout our stay there... In general, we had a couple of days left and we went to the beach at the hotel. Its plus, however, is that there are almost no cold currents there. The hotel also has a swimming pool, 1.5 meters deep, if I'm not mistaken. It is small and the water is warm.
Entertainment. They are not there. Generally. No animation, no sports - nothing. It was just a disaster for us, because we were determined to go to all that is possible. And this is the question that I asked 15 times at the agency - “is there animation? ”. Of course, they answered that everything is there... As a result, all our entertainment consisted of daily evening promenades along the embankment. It is all strewn with restaurants - they look very pleasant. But we never visited them - all inclusive, no matter how, we didn’t even want to think about food. The only problem was that there was nowhere to just sit and sit - everything was captured by restaurants. I don't know the price though, I've never been. A few more times we visited the hammam in the neighboring village of Gumbet. We bought a hammam + massage = 30 lira (1.72 lira = 1 dollar) at Alina Tour, we liked it. In the same "Alina tour" they bought a trip on a yacht - that was just horror... There is absolutely nothing to see there. The trip was cheap ($15 per person), but they didn’t offer more expensive there (not only in Alina Tour, in other agencies too), so the yacht was small, without covering on the upper deck, and we sat down on wooden benches all day at wooden tables, which was very, very stressful. The nature there is ugly - bald islands and all... Yes, the water is clear, the bottom can be seen even if it is very deep, but how long can you look at that water? There was no entertainment on the yacht either, not even music. When I later talked to the person who sold the trip to us, he said that this is a type of walk - “lazy”, they say, there is also more fun. So you immediately stipulate this moment. From the Bodrum Peninsula it is convenient to go to Pamukkale and Ephesus. We didn't go because it was very hot (+40 +44), and my mother had problems with blood pressure, and we were afraid. But we went to Bodrum itself. The road is not long, 3.5 lira per person one way. Buses (dolmushi) run frequently and almost around the clock. They come to the very center, which is all made up of shops / restaurants / nightclubs. You can also buy various tours (quad biking, a trip to the water park, etc. ), but I don’t know anything about them. Oh yes, there is also a surfing club not far from the hotel where you can learn how to windsurf and ride a sailing catamaran.
In conclusion, I will also say that there were practically no Russian-speaking tourists there. Only in our hotel there were several families and that's it. The locals (including the hotel staff) do not speak Russian at all, but they speak English well. Learn it.
And further. Our tour was marked “TEZTUR priority” (or something like that), but when we saw our hotel, we got the impression that this is how teztour promotes illiquid…
In general, I hope I helped you with something, do not repeat my mistake.
I wrote so much, but why... Just DO NOT GO to this hotel.

This is probably one of my first reviews of this hotel. Those who are going to this so-called hotel. I will briefly describe. It all started with the fact that my family and I decided to relax abroad. In the travel agency for those lines in which I needed to go for 4 people, there was no particular choice. There were only trips to this Club Amarissa Suites & Residences 4 * hotel. Well, we decided to take it, after all, 4 * close to the sea, etc. The agency did not say anything about the hotel, due to the lack of information, only on the Internet we found a couple of photos, according to which we ordered trips about the general features. I came home with joy, I think I will look for more information about the hotel and reviews. After spending a couple of hours on the Internet, I did not find anything, except for 11 photos of the hotel. The next day I went to the travel agency with questions about why there is no information. Where they told me that the hotel is new, the first year that vouchers are sold, if there are no reviews, then it is good, I have nothing to worry about, everything will be fine. I asked, has anyone been there? They said that I was the first. I was reassured and we went to Bodrum! At the airport we were kindly greeted by the staff of the tour operator in an excellent bus brought to the hotel. On the way to the hotel, the guide told us all the charms of these places, that there are many excellent excursions. The mood was great until we arrived at the hotel, which you can’t call it. The territory is very small, the hotel houses are three-story, there is a balcony on the second and third floors. Employees with great difficulty understand only a couple of words in Russian, only in English can you find a common language with them. The first day of stay for everyone who "got" in this hotel was the most difficult. A total disappointment. For those who are not the first time vacationing abroad and know what and how should be in 4 * hotels got a shock. Firstly, this institution is not a hotel - but a club, which I don’t know how and for what they gave 4 stars. Works as a hotel for a couple of months. Previously, rooms were rented here for individual residence. The rooms have all household appliances (air conditioning, electric stove, refrigerator, hair dryer, boiler, extractor hood, washing machine, dishwasher) shared mini kitchen. Not everyone is lucky enough to get a room where everything was fine. Everyone had comments on the number. In some, the air conditioner did not work, the room was not tidied up, there was not enough bed linen, there was "bare tile" on the floor, the shampoo was bad, there was no soap. There is no iron in the rooms; fi zone, but the speed is 0.6Mb/s. There was no safe in the room, as I later found out, it was on watch and the rent was $ 3 per day. Having paid the rent for the safe, they did not want to give it to the room, after my indignation they gave it. Meals at the hotel buffet. Having talked on the first day with vacationers who had already lived in the hotel for a couple of days, I found out that the food is more or less normal, there is a choice, but for some reason there was no meat. On the same day, the hotel guide visited and I decided everything that did not suit me at that time with him. After my claims, the meat appeared every day, but one type of dish (meat) per day. Fruits (watermelon, melon, apples, plums), any salads, a lot of sweet dishes, there were no baked goods. As a "snack" after dinner was everyone's favorite french fries and a sweet muffin for coffee. Drinks (cola, sprite, fanta) beer (non-alcoholic) in the bar were free, ice cream was unfortunately very expensive. Nescafe coffee (instant), no complaints about tea, there were drinks like "Jupi", the paint from which remained on the lips. Check-out from the hotel takes place in the early morning at 5 o'clock unnoticed, you give the keys and go out. And the most unpleasant thing is that they don’t give “dry rations” with them on the road, which is in other hotels. The service staff was exclusively male, who always smiled pleasantly at all vacationers. Cleaning in the rooms took place only when you write a complaint, otherwise nothing. The pool pleased with its presence, in which everyone willingly swam, especially children. The beach in front of the hotel is just awful. Very few people swim in it. The bottom is muddy, the unpleasant smell of water. The beds are almost all broken. Almost all hotel guests went to the beaches of neighboring hotels, and away from the hotel. On which we were driven by employees of other hotels. I had to pretend to be "fools" to swim and sunbathe on a normal beach. The beach is located in a bay, where there are no waves at all, the water is stagnant. And closer to the open sea, on the beaches of which it is very "cool", sometimes you even had to pay the owners. Tours to the sights of Bodrum from a tour operator are 2.5-3 times more expensive than from the operators of Bodrum itself, thanks to which we saw all the beauty of this coast. Otherwise very expensive. On the second day and subsequent days, everyone is already getting used to all this, and who can rest as best they can. The hotel has people of all nationalities. But like everywhere, Russian-speaking vacationers always stick together, in company, and it's always fun and cool! The hotel is pleasantly quiet. Sleep nice and quiet at night. All you hear is the sound of the air conditioner running loudly. There are no beach towels here. But the very thought of how "got" on this makes itself felt every day. It's a shame that you pay and go to a 4 * class hotel and you end up in a hotel that can hardly be given 2 + *. Prices on the market sometimes "bite", designed for very rich vacationers. You need to bargain, but even after bargaining it's still not cheap. Nature in Bodrum is beautiful. All good! And in conclusion, what I want to say is that the hotel itself is not bad, it’s normal for a family, you can put up with everything, but living here is very expensive for him. Not worth the money they ask for it. Those who "hit" this year in this hotel will always remember how he "fucked up". Before choosing a hotel - always find out more information, reviews and recommendations.
