We are staying at the hotel with four small children. We live in a room called a family room. A few days ago, a stage was built right under our windows, where a corporate party was held in the evening. This event began at 20.00 and lasted until 23.30. The sound was such that with the windows and the balcony closed, we, who were in the room, could hardly hear each other. And the windows and balcony doors trembled. Naturally, the children could not fall asleep under any circumstances.
We went out into the street, the children wanted to see what kind of concert was there, and we stopped not far from the room. But, we were “asked” from there, saying that we were violating private borders and almost broke into people’s “homes”. And the fact that this corporate party violates the rights of me and my children with its noise is my problem.
When I called the reception, I was offered to transfer the children to another room before the end of the concert, and after it was over, return them to the room. That is, at 22.00 in the evening I had to rush around the hotel buildings with cribs and children, transferring them back and forth. To my comment that for young children a change of place is always stressful, and that we came here to relax, the girl at the reception just shrugged.

As a result, until 24.00 the children could not fall asleep and the next morning they did not get enough sleep, which, to put it mildly, does not contribute to a good rest.
Why is the corporate party held in the place where the FAMILY rooms are located? Why did the administration not take care to warn in advance about this event and did not transfer to another room in the afternoon?
The representative of the agency through which we booked tours wrote a letter to the hotel administration, but to this day no one has apologized, has not tried to smooth the situation, has not compensated for the discomfort caused.
On the positive side, I want to note: a large territory, an excellent kids club, interesting shows and activities for children, delicious and quite varied cuisine, pleasant staff in the restaurant and kids club.
Of the minuses: lack of information for residents, you have to find out everything and run yourself, very untidy toilets, poor housekeeping, poor WiFi, and, as already described, the administration’s absolutely dismissive attitude towards living guests.
